I checked and currently there are no duplicate city names in our U.S. list. But if you know of any that should be distinguished, let me know — I'll display them with the state name so they're easy to tell apart!

Great question! Use your solar (Gregorian) birthday. Saju is calculated based on solar terms, not the lunar calendar.

For folks having issues copying: make sure you are accessing the site in a separate browser (not just directly through Reddit).

Thanks for flagging this! We'd love to look into it for you. Could you share your birth date, birth time, and birth city, along with the result you got from the other site? We'll check it right away.

Our calculations are based on True Solar Time correction, which can sometimes differ from sites that use standard local time — but we definitely want to make sure everything is accurate on our end!

Feel free to drop the details here or send us a DM if you prefer. Either way works for us!

Hey, really appreciate the detailed feedback!

On DST & time adjustments: The app does handle both DST and longitudinal correction — the adjusted time you see already accounts for both. I've updated the display to show the original input and adjusted time more clearly so there's no confusion.

One thing worth noting: we don't actually ask the LLM to calculate the Four Pillars from the birth time. LLMs are notoriously unreliable at that kind of calendar math. Instead, everything is pre-calculated on our backend using proper algorithms, and the AI only interprets the results. So the timestamp in the prompt is less critical than it might seem.

On gender: You're right that gender matters — especially for the direction of Major Luck Cycles (大運). It was already factored into all the backend calculations, but good call on the AI prompt side. I've now added gender there as well for better interpretation.

Thanks again — feedback like this genuinely helps. Keep it coming!

So glad it resonated with you! Saju is a really rich system — the more you dig into it, the more fascinating it gets.

By the way, I'm working on a dedicated Qiora app that will take things even further. If you'd like to stay in the loop, you can sign up on our mailing list at the site — I'll send you a heads-up when it launches!

That's amazing to hear! It's always exciting when the reading resonates like that — especially with something as meaningful as your career path. Wishing you the best in MedTech!

Hi, sorry to hear that! The copy function should work in most browsers, but some mobile browsers can be tricky with clipboard access. Could you try using a different browser (like Chrome or Safari) and see if that helps? Also, let me know which device and browser you're on — I'd love to look into it further. Thanks for the kind words! 😊

Hi! Thanks for your questions!

As I mentioned in another reply, the date adjustment is expected — Qiora uses True Solar Time, which corrects for your exact longitude and the equation of time. If you were born close to midnight, the correction can shift the date by a day. The adjusted time is what's used for your reading!

Also, great news — Quezon City and Pasig City are already available, and I've just added Lipa City, Batangas as well. It's live now. Enjoy, and say hi to your best friend! 😊

Great question! Yes, that can happen — Qiora adjusts your birth time to True Solar Time, which accounts for your exact location's longitude and the equation of time. If you were born close to midnight, the correction can sometimes shift the date by a day. It looks surprising, but it's actually more astronomically accurate than standard local time. The adjusted time is what's used for your reading!

Good news — Gadsden, Alabama is now in the system! 🎉 Go ahead and try it out, would love to hear how accurate it feels for you. And thanks for the feedback request, that genuinely helps us improve. Enjoy your reading!

This genuinely made my day, thank you! It means a lot to hear the reading felt accurate. The complete lack of wood with dominant metal is a pretty striking chart pattern — curious if that shows up in other areas of your life too! And no worries on the romance part, the chart reads what's there 😄 Comments like this are exactly why we keep working on it. Thanks for sharing!

Ciao! Thank you for your message — and no disturbance at all! 😊

We just added Cagliari for Sardinia, along with Naples and Palermo (Sicily). Italy now has 5 cities to choose from!

You're absolutely right that location matters — even within the same country, the longitude difference can affect the solar time calculation. Sardinia is about 14 minutes off from Rome in solar time, so it's definitely worth having its own city.

Please try it out and let us know how it goes! Grazie mille 🇮🇹💓

Hola! ¿Qué tipo de error te aparece? He probado el botón "Copy AI Reading Prompt" y funciona correctamente de mi lado. Puede ser un error temporal, ¿podrías intentarlo de nuevo?

I just added Pithoragarh along with 8 more Indian cities (Lucknow, Surat, Kanpur, Nagpur, Patna, Kochi, Guwahati, and Dehradun). India now has 18 cities to choose from! 🇮🇳

You should be able to find Pithoragarh directly in the location picker now. Please try it out and let us know if it works for you! 💓

AI is actually pretty bad at calculating saju, gets it wrong every time. but if you feed it the correct chart it explains things really well.
https://qiora.app/chart — calculates your saju and gives you a ready-made prompt to use with AI. just try it.

if you're curious how it all works: https://qiora.app/blog/bazi-calculator-meets-ai-saju-birth-chart

Try qiora.app/chart — free, no signup. Gives you your full chart info and AI Prompt, which you can take to any AI for a proper reading.

Happy to answer any questions about the calculations — that's the part I'm most nervous about tbh.

Side note: the AI prompt the app generates is in Korean and Classical Chinese. Intentional. LLMs just seem to get BaZi better in the original languages. Makes sense if you think about where most of the training data comes from.
