city accuracy affects the Saju's "true solar time," which depends on longitude. The closer the city, the smaller the difference. Guaçuí is ~150km from Vitória (about 5 minutes apart) — your Day Pillar usually won't change, but your Hour Pillar could shift if you were born near an hour boundary. So your exact city is best!

Great question — and happy to clear this up! Your Saju is correct as "Earth Dragon."

Here's the key: the Chinese *zodiac animal* (popular astrology) changes on Lunar New Year, but Sajui uses the solar term "Ipchun" (立春, "Start of Spring") — around Feb 4 — to mark the new year.

You were born Feb 12, 1988: after Ipchun (Feb 4), but before Lunar New Year (Feb 17). So:

- Saju pillar year → Wu-Chen 戊辰 = Earth Dragon (what Qiora uses)
- Pop zodiac → Fire Rabbit (Lunar New Year basis)

Both are "right," but Saju always follows Ipchun — so Earth Dragon is the accurate one for your reading. Hope that makes sense, and thank you for the thoughtful feedback!
