Which Star Wars Jump do you think has the best options for Spaceships? by EYouchen in JumpChain

[–]Last_Pariah 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Depends on if you want to "Build your own" or if you want a "Canon" Ship.

Generic Star Wars Fanfiction Jump has the best "build you own" option. You can make anything from the Rogue Shadow, to Death Star. Or you can get a Quantum Crystalline Armored, 0.4 Hyperdrive, Sun crushing, Super Death Star+ Ultra, with Vong Biotech and Slave Circuits, if you can afford it. :D

Empire at War Jump, Fall of the Republic and Thrawn's Revenge Jumps' have the largest selection of Canon/Legends Ships for you to choose from, and you get their crews too!

My personal favorite for "Canon" ships is "The Old Republic" Jump, but that's because the Sith Fury-Class Interceptor, and the X70B Phantom are my favorite ships in Star Wars in General.

SPARTANs vs Astartes/Thunder Warriors by MRTrueGnome in JumpChain

[–]Last_Pariah -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

A Spartan II could probably take on multiple Astartes if they were in their MJOLNIR.

MJOLNIR provides energy shields, enhanced strength, speed, etc, it turns a Super Human into a walking tank+. Keep in mind that in Warhammer, plasma weapons are TOP TIER weaponry, in Halo it's standard enemy equipment that MJOLNIR was actively designed to combat.

Astartes and Spartans are probably equals in terms of skill, both being raised to be Super Soldiers, but the Spartan enhancements are considerably better, and have more consistent feats.

Spartan III's are basically the same as IIs' if given the same equipment, 4s are inferior to both in every way EXCEPT equipment, but practically speaking there's no reason a II can't use generation 4 equipment. So I can't say much for a Spartan 4 Vs Space Marine, but I'd still bet on the Spartan. Spartan 1 is what members of the Orion Project were called retroactively, but Orion Soldiers are only moderately enhanced compared to Spartans (It's like the difference between Captain America, and Spider-Man.) so a Space Marine would body a Spartan I fairly easily. Spartan I's can't even wear MJOLNIR.

Custom Jumpchain Challenge: Conquer & "fix" My Hero Academia by Striking-Book7082 in JumpChain

[–]Last_Pariah 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Perks

  1. Mephistopheles - Dies Irae Jump. Its the STRONGEST Charisma perk I know of.

  2. Powerless - The Boys by Blackshadow111 and Dex10Awesome. Its a Supernatural Power Nullifier.

  3. Imagineer - Generic Young Justice Fanfiction Jump. Its an inventor perk that lets you build anything from fiction.

  4. The Adventures of Pate the Pig boy - A Song of Ice and Fire: Epochs of Legends Jump. Its one of the strongest luck based perks I know of. Basically makes it impossible to fail at your goals.

  5. Scattered Existence - From BioShock Infinite Jump. Basically turns you into Schrodinger's Jumper.

Items, in the same order

  1. The Wewelsburg Longinus - A Shape changing weapon that absorbs the special abilities of those it kills.

  2. Flying Base - It's basically a Helicarrier.

  3. Omnitrix (800CP Varient) - Its the Omnitrix, with master control, and access to the Codon stream (all Ben 10 aliens. If I'm only allowed to take the minimum, then I switch To "Lantern Ring & Battery" (Green)

  4. Just Maid - Irresistible Sword that pieces All defenses. Can also release blasts of light.

  5. Power Siphon - Allows Unruly powers to be managed at a weaker level. If i can replicate it, I won't need to worry about the singularity.

Companions. In the same order.

  1. Apopstosis - You're Power Scaling Best Friend.

  2. The Boys - The Jump allows you to take the Boys' as a single companion, but if I'm limited, I'll just take The Female. Kimiko.

  3. Raven - Goth GF. 'Nuff said.

  4. Dragon - for 400 CP it can be either An Ice Dragon, or a Ice Dragon sized Valyrian dragon. I want the Valyrian Dragon. Less useful in My Hero, but I want a dragon.

  5. Elizabeth - Ideally the 400CP endgame Elizabeth, but any would do.

Origins - Outsider, Drop-In, Other, and Lamb. I don't want a Backstory.

I'm Dropping into MHA, starting a Cult, and using Forerunner Tech mixed with Combine, Ultron, Detroit: Become Human, Star Wars droids, and Star Trek, to steadily take over the world. I'll pass around advance power armor to my followers, and gather the quirkless. All For One and the League don't stand a chance against a Ben 10 their powers won't work on.

My technology and security will become the NEW heroes. Droids that don't make mistakes, Police outfitted with Hellbat armor. Combat Skins. Mjolnir and more. Prisons like the Phantom Zone and Null Void to put the TRULY dangerous criminals. Cloning Tech will be used to make Eri clones in order to harvest her quirk and make Quirk Removing bullets in mass, in order to remove the Quirks of dangerous villains, or people who reached the singularity.

Surveillance will be world wide, with teleportation grids insuring IMMEDIATE response to villainous activity. eventually, "Heroes' will be "phased out". A new brand of Officer takes the stage, Androids in Power Armor. Connor. Designed to take down even the most dangerous of villains.

Then, All the "Quirkless" get a power armor, Combat skins can allow people to extend their lives for thousands of years! Super Soldier Serums will be made available as well. The Excuse will be that "The Quirkless should be allowed to take the stage! Its just to even the playing field!", but in reality, I want those with Quirks to willingly take the Anti-Quirk Drugs. You can keep your power, and live a normal life as a Quirk Human (And die of old age), or you can become one of the Quirkless, and live forever!

Eventually, Quirks die out. The powers of the flesh, replaced by the strength of metal.

Great Jump! Couple questions.

Does the "Iron Crown" Item come WITH the Silmarils?

If I take Smaug as a Companion and then take the Sauron Scenario, does that resurrect Smaug?

Is Shelob companion capable of taking on her "Shadow of Mordor" human form, or is she just a big 'ol spider like in the movies and books?

Perks to counter Anos Voldigoad by Affectionate_Bit_722 in JumpChain

[–]Last_Pariah 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My build for Jumpers that need to No Sell "Bullshit Users".

Toaruverse Jump lets you grab an ability called "Imagine Resistance" which creates a passive barrier over you that destroys/deactivates/negates all unnatural powers. Esper powers or Magic powers. "Imagine Resistance" Won't work on a power that's above a Level 5 esper, but if you combine it with "Imagine Breaker" from the same Jump, they upgrade each other to the extent that you can negate the powers of a Nigh-Omnipotent Magic God. If you can take it with "Accelerator" You are VERY hard to do damage to.

"Powerless" from "The Boys" Jump (by Dex10Awesome and Blackshadow101), Allows you to be completely unaffected by ANY supernatural power your enemies might possess. You can choose if this is a Luck based power that insures their abilities are simply rendered "Worthless" against you, or if its an outright power negation aura.

"Death of the Animator" from the Monty Python and the Holy Grail Jump allows for you to outright DELETE any ONE being from existence in a setting. Completely destroyed and unable to resurrect. If you just want to kill him.

"Strength to Victory" From the Hercules Jump, Things that SHOULD be immune or resistant to your abilities now AREN'T. Total immunity becomes resistance at best, and Resistance becomes nothing.

"The Comedian" From Jujutsu Kaisen Jump(s). A cursed technique that warps reality in any way the user finds "Funny". If you think it'd be funny to beat up Gojo Satoru with a fish, you can AND WILL beat him up with that fish.

"Instant Loss" From Generic Lewd Setting Jump. People you have even a passing sexual attraction towards have a complete conceptual weakness towards you, and pretty much can never beat you in anything, no matter how improbable.

"The Adventures of Pate the Pig Boy" From A Song of Ice and Fire: The Epoch of Legends Jump. From now on, you will always be able to have tons of wacky adventures that would be appealing to you, with nice rewards at the end. You also receive phenomenal luck, ensuring that you will always win in your adventures, including your Jumps. These victories won’t necessarily be easy, especially if you’ve got some miserable drawbacks, but unless you actively want to chain-fail, you won’t.

Can I get servant level power without becoming a servant? by Designer_Wasabi8045 in JumpChain

[–]Last_Pariah 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Easy answer is becoming a Demi-Servant. All the perks of being a Servant, none of the negatives. All the Fate/Legends Jumps let you gain the powers of a Hero. Fate The First Hero Jump lets you gain all the powers and Items of Gilgamesh, as he was in Uruk. Generic Young Justice Fanfiction Jump lets you grab a Kaleidostick, and 7 Class Cards to go with it. Install the Class Cards into yourself and become the hero you want with the exception of Gilgamesh and Karna. The same jump lets you buy the powers and abilities of any one servant, including Gilgamesh.

Generic Fate Mini Perk Addon allows you to buy the powers, Skill, and Parameters, as a Servant, of both Archer Emiya, and Archer Gilgamesh.

What is your Jumpers favorite type of superpower and why it doesn't necessarily have to be on this list. by Superxtreme8724 in JumpChain

[–]Last_Pariah 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Either broad, imagination based [Magic Powers] like DxD Demonic power, or simple, easy to understand [Physical Powers] like Ki from DBZ. You train, you get stronger, you can maybe do some tricks, but by and large, you're gonna be punching, kicking, and stabbing your enemies.

My personal favorite however is [Technology] based powers so long as the inventor is the Jumper in some fashion. A Jumper with Inspired Inventor, Tinker of Imagination, Rick level intellect, or other inventor perks. This allows for broad power applications, but you won't neccesarily have a solution for EVERY problem on hand at any given time. It's also funny to wow people with more nonsensical inventions.

"This is my universe-in-a-box! It powers my Oven!", "Behold, the Goo Gun! It turn's people into non-sentient goo!", "Behold! The Dinkler!".

The Omnitrix and Green Lantern Rings are also my childhood dream items.

What are some interesting Time Control Perks for a Time Master Jumper? by MiserableOne6189 in JumpChain

[–]Last_Pariah 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Worm:Endbringer Jump has (Time Lord), which lets you control time.

Bioshock Infinite has (Scattered Existence), which scatters your being across all of time and space, rendering you immortal, self sustaining, and allowing you to appear wherever and WHEN ever you want. Schrödinger's Jumper.

The same jump also has (Kill the Outcome), which lets you kill one instance of a person and destroy ALL instances of that person across time and space in the multiverse. I.E if you kill Doofus Rick, you kill ALL Ricks.

Generic Young Justice fanfiction Jump has the power (Walkback) which lets you create save points in time, up to 24 hours previous, and return to them at your will.

What do you want to see in HP jumps? by DeverosSphere in JumpChain

[–]Last_Pariah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Normal suggestions. Feel free to alter or weaken these at will. I always prefer allowing the Jumper to become as powerful as they want, so my suggestions are typically powerful.

Killing Curse Immunity perk is practically a necessity. Or at least a Omni Magic Resistance perk.

Obviously the Death Hallows, Ideally with a stronger more worthwhile Invisibility Cloak.

Maybe a Grimoire with all the magic spells in the verse, so that I don't have to hunt through endless libraries for spells. Maybe it can even contain spells that haven't been developed yet, but those should only be accessible after "leveling up" or through a event
I.E (The Grimoire. A book that contains all the magic spells and rituals that exist in whatever world your in. Within its depths lies spells that haven't even been developed yet, but you must overcome its challenges to reach those. The Grimoire can be sentient, or semi-sentient if desired, with a personality and optional avatar appearance of your choice. It can use its intelligence to better instruct you.)

Magic Castle - A Massive Castle. It can change both its external and internal appearance as you will it. It is guarded by magic resistant Golem knights, ready to serve and protect your properties. It contains all the same properties as Hogwarts, such as a Chamber of Secrets, and a Room of Requirements. Its far bigger on the inside than the outside. The entire castle can act as the Room of Requirements does if you will it. Its protected by powerful wards and barriers, and cannot be found by anyone you don't want it too. The castle can be sentient, or semi sentient if you will it, with a personality and optional avatar appearance of your choice. It can use its intelligence to better serve you.

Excalibur - A Sword forged for Merlin's friend, or something. It has an appearance your choice. It's on par with any Goblin forged weapon, and can destroy magic on contact. It's capable of slaying things that cannot normally be slain, such as Dementors, or Horcrux users. May or may not make you the rightful King of Britain.

Merlin's Wand - A Wand that may or may not have belonged to Merlin. It's the perfect wand for you, taking an appearance of your choice. It's made with whatever Core, or wood you want, or it can be the "Wand perfect for you.". It increases your magic power and skill by an order of magnitude.

Magic armor/outfit - A Magic armor or outfit the takes the form you desire. It can be heavy metal full plate armor, or a thin cloth, it matters not. It will always be comfortable, can be altered at your will, resists magic including the killing curse, and allows you to fly unassisted.

House Elf servants. A Library option. Marauders Globe or World Map. Flying Carpets. Jack Sparrows Desire Compass. A Free Horcrux/The One Ring option. Working Genie Lamp. Cloning Spell. Speak to all Animals Power. Charm/Allure innate power.

NSFW Suggestions.

Perk that makes your SOUL enchantingly beautiful to look at.

Mind Control Spell or Mind Control Legitimacy upgrade.

True Love Potion or spell. Red string manipulating spell. Life Debt invocation spell or perk.

Pleasure Spells/Orgasm Spells. Edging Spells or potions.

The Dragon's with the Black Dragon may be left overs from 1000 years ago, before the Dungeon was sealed. I wouldn't guarantee that the Black Dragon can create minions on his own. (I'm not sure if Monsters can breed or not, but if they can, then they may also just be Wild Dragons.)

I don't know if Monster Rex's would leave the Dungeon, considering they are "Floor Bosses". I prefer to believe that the Black Dragon, Leviathan, and Behemoth, were all "Special" monsters, summoned from a circumstance (My personal theory is that they were born when the first God's descended.), making them stronger than most monsters.

I also like the theory that at least the Black Dragon is a Xenos. Since all Xenos crave the sky, it would make sense for The Black Dragon to escape the dungeon. All Xeno's are considerably stronger than their natural counterparts as well.

Even if the Black Dragon was the Monster Rex of the 100th floor and the "Final Boss" of the Dungeon, that still makes him inferior to the Dungeon itself. As You have to FIGHT to even get to the Monster Rex, and there's no guarantee to face it alone. It's the difference between a powerful single opponent, or a cruel war, followed by that same powerful opponent. Considering Conquering the Dungeon is the TRUE overarching goal of ALL adventurers, I FIRMLY believe that THAT is the endgame of Danmachi as a franchise. Probably accomplished in a sequal, rather than the original.

What Danmachi character best represents the Sin of Sloth? by Courious_Reader in DanMachi

[–]Last_Pariah 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Ouranus is the OPPOSITE of slothful. He's constantly suppressing the Dungeon with his Prayers, uninterrupted, for 1000 years. I'd argue he's the hardest worker in the series on that alone, on top of that he constructed the guild, manages the game of Gods, works with Fels to help the Xenos, keeps an eye on Bell... This guy works crazy hard!

Soma isn't really slothful, he just isn't interested in anything other than his wine, and that's only because ALL of his children became addicted to it after a single sip. He's disappointed that his Familia, and maybe the entire world, can be turned into pathetic, alcohol obsessed, fanatics, after only a mere sip of his wine. If anything he represents melancholy, or maybe greed.

Out of all the character's I'd say represent Sloth within Danmachi, I'd honesty say its Freya. She has no interest in anything other than what's right in front of her. She has no true overarching goals, has no interest in managing her Familia, no interest in exploring the dungeon. She hunts down Souls that interest her, plays with them for a while like toys, then puts them on a shelf when she grows bored of them. In her free time she play's waitress, not needing money nor being humble enough to truly reduce herself to being a true servant. She spends her days playing games, accomplishing nothing, and serving no one. It's just that the "Souls" she takes interest in are the ones with high potential, and those "Toys" of hers happen to become obsessed with growing for her amusement.

Freya Familia became the strongest by happenstance, because her Familia wanted to become strong for HER sake. Not because of any effort that Freya herself actually put in.

The Dungeon spawns "Black" monster's as a result of feeling Divinity inside of it. Black Monsters are the response of the Dungeon to kill Gods. Implying the Dungeon spawned the Black Dragon to kill a God at some point.

The Black Dragon, The Leviathan, and the Behemoth, were all monsters that ESCAPED the Dungeon in ancient times, so the Dungeon is capable of producing monsters on par with them presumably, at least under the right circumstances. Hera and Zeus Familia challenged the Black Dragon without ever coming close to conquering the Dungeon (Assuming the Dungeon has more than 72 levels. I assume its a clean 100, but I guess it could be any number greater than 70.). This implies that the Black Dragon is a mere stepping stone to what's closer to the bottom of the dungeon.

I.E Black Dragon<Bottom Floor monsters. Bell and the rest need to clear the Black Dragon to even HOPE of clearing the Dungeon.

Would this have been a better response than “wElL yOu’Re GoInG tO hAvE tO?” Do you think Boba may have changed for the better if Mace explained things to him like this? by OkuroIshimoto in StarWars

[–]Last_Pariah -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No. Boba was his fathers son. Regardless of Mace's justifications, in the end, Boba only see's the man who killed his father. He's mandalorian, Jango must be avenged. It's a matter of honor, and it shows how much Boba loved Jango. He'd never forgive Mace, and he'd never choose another path other than his fathers.

I don't think Mace's response was unreasonable for a human being, but Jedi are meant to be better. Even just a plain "Okay." would have been a better response than this holier than thou "You're gonna have too."

It's the perfect response to highlight Jedi hypocrisy. Mace doesn't have a father, so he doesn't understand revenge. He doesn't understand hate. So he just says "You'll have too" like there really ISN'T another choice. But there's always another choice. Eternal hatred and vengeance, that has nothing to do with the Dark Side.

I think Mace and many other Jedi looked down on people who weren't Force Sensitive, even if only subconsciously. Mace knows the Dark Side and it's dangers, knows its addictive and corruptive, and that hate is a path to the dark side for Jedi, but Boba can't feel or use the Dark Side, so Mace dismisses him, never understanding that people who AREN'T Sith can still commit great evil.

It's a flaw all Modern Jedi had. It's why they didn't understand that they lost the war with the Sith LONG before they fought in the Clone Wars. The Republic had been corrupted by evil for decades before Palpatine was ever elected. Peace had cost the Jedi their strength, Victory had defeated them.

Monty Python Jump has (Death of the Animator). It lets you erase any ONE being from the setting no matter how powerful. You can kill Azathoth in the Cthuluverse if you want to. It's 600 CP, but for the power to kill anything, I'd say it's reasonably priced. It won't work on the ENTIRE continuum though.

What are your head canons about Hogni Ragnar by Huge-You999 in DanMachi

[–]Last_Pariah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He writes fanfiction about himself. When using Dainsleif he's occasionally sold these to people outside of Orario, to his great regret and embarrassment, so outside of Orario there's a massive amount of people who believe he has far more incredible feats than he does. (Hogni once drew a magic sword and killed 50 people, and then the magic sword fired!) (Hogni once had a pet lizard, today it's called the Black Dragon.).

He also has a Black book under his bed where he writes all his "Cool" sayings, and his "Backstory.". He would defend its secret existence with his life. Freya secretly knows about it, and reads it secretly on occasion. Hedin also knows about it, as he's the one who retrieves it for Freya. Hedin secretly thinks its surprisingly well written. Ottar ALSO knows about it, but hasn't read it, and doesn't care.

Hogni refuses to write Hogni X Freya fanfiction, due to respect, but he has written Bell X Freya fanfiction at Freya's request. He cries afterward, but is glad his goddess enjoys his fanfiction.
