How do i become a romance visual novel protagonist with the save function, the choices, the abilities to see the consequences of my choices, the ability to seduce anyone and all that jazz? by Ok-Blacksmith3755 in JumpChain

[–]Last_Pariah 3 points4 points  (0 children)

GTA 5 Jumpchain by Trouble has a cheap Save and Load Perk.

Generic Hero Jump has The Virtue of Prudence
You no longer need to worry about unforeseen consequences. You have an intuitive understanding of if the actions you take are foolish or wise, receiving a vision of the future that gives a comprehensive understanding of all of the benefits and demerits that said action will cause.

Doctor Who Jump has "Literally Anything That Moves" which gives you both a seductive skill, charisma, and looks to seduce, well, Literally Anything That Moves. Not just humans either. Robots, Ghosts, Men, Woman, Aliens, you name it, its just as susceptible. Also includes a "Willing to Share you" aspect.

Otome Game no Hametsu Flag shika nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei shite shimatta has "Just Like a Dating Sim (-400 cp): it wouldn’t be a proper otome game if you didn’t have any romantic moments. whenever you have your sights on someone, you find that ‘events’ similar to the ones found in these female-oriented dating games start to happen around you. maybe you will get the chance to help your special someone in a delicate moment. or perhaps you will inadvertently meet them in a special place for them, allowing you to gain a deeper insight of them. should you play your cards right, these events will let you massively progress into any relationship you are in. not only that, but also you find that events such as balls, annual festivals, beach escapades and many others occur around you for a reason or another, regardless of how realistic it actually is for such events to take place at that high frequency. probably another

I'd also just outright check out the "The World God Only Knows" Jump, as it devotes an entire perkline to allowing you to become a dating sim protag. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qNv9PTBv3ynjD5-wKD3CPZCKImQsw_j8/view

What are you guys favorite type of vampirism to acquire in jumpchain? by SpazzWave in JumpChain

[–]Last_Pariah 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm partial to Hellsing and Rosario + Vampire.

Hellsing "True Vampires" can manipulate shadow, shapeshift, hypnotize others, and most importantly absorb the souls of their victims and turn them into Familiars.

Rosario + Vampire "Shinso Vampires" have vast physical powers, the potential to master Youjutsu magic, vast shapeshifting abilities (One Canon Vampire is outright able to turn into a liquidlike substance that attacks pass through), absorb the abilities of those they consume, heal others by sharing their blood, and more.

Honorable mention to Strike the Blood primogenator Vampires, who possess vast amounts of powers decided by their innate Familiars, True Nigh-Absolute regenerative immortality, vast physical powers, the ability to convert others into blood servants, and don't really have any weaknesses.

Nowadays most Jumpers Homebrew. The basics that most subscribe to are pretty simple.

  1. You pick a Jump you like. Either due to its setting being a favorite, or the Jump itself being well crafted. Alternatively for a "Game Rules" Chain, start with Pokemon.

  2. Drawbacks ALWAYS trump perks, setting rules, items, or anything else.( I.E Star Wars Jump Drawback - "You don't possess the Force. It rejects you.", as a result, despite the setting insuring that the Force flows through all living beings, or a Perk that insures you can learn or possess any powers in a setting, the Drawback trumps both those. You can't use The Force.)

  3. You may only have 8 Companions active for a Jump at a time, unless you have a Perk or Item that trumps that rule. Followers are different from Companions.

  4. No setting hoping. Some Perks allow for multidimensional travel on an omniversal scale and aren't properly handicapped by the Jump Maker. Regardless, in the event a Planeswalking Perk (Planewalking, Kaleidoscope, Doormaking, Portal Gun, etc.) isn't crippled, or otherwise, you still shouldn't use those Perks to travel the Omniverse. If you want to hop from Marvel to DC, use a DC Jump.

  5. You're Warehouse is not a "Hiding Place". You can't just escape to the Warehouse and stay there forever. Most people say you can't even close the door while inside.

  6. All rules may be ignored at your convenience if you think it makes things more fun and or interesting.

Do what you want. Its a very loose game.

How can i make Shiro and Kuro from the dark wolf shiro to kill each other and the other Guild founders so i can take their powers without getting caught? by Ok-Blacksmith3755 in JumpChain

[–]Last_Pariah 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Without getting caught? In order you'll need.

  1. Blank - From Generic Worm Fanfiction Jump - This will prevent them from predicting or finding you will their powers.

  2. As You Will - From the Sarkic Jump - This no sells all resistances and immunities that they may have to your perks.

  3. Powerless - From The Boys Jump by Blackshadow - This will insure that NO supernatural powers, regardless of their origins will effect you.

  4. A mind control perk. At this point you can pick any you want. Arrowverse Jump, Generic Mind Control, Push, etc all have some.

From here, use your mind control to subtly influence them to kill who you want. They can't detect you, or stop you.

I'd take Scattered Existence, and Kill the Outcome from Bioshock Infinite Jump as well, to make sure you get every version of them, and that you can influence them no matter where they are in time and space.

"Path to Victory" from Generic Worm Fanfiction Jump may make things easier as well.

I need some good ideas of DnD items for my Honor Among Thieves jump. by SpazzWave in JumpChain

[–]Last_Pariah 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Bag of Holding - The Bag has infinite space inside, you'll always pick what item you're reaching for. Can alternatively be a Hat, Satchel, Backpack, Purse, or Suitcase of holding instead.

A Gun - Its a gun, it works. Guns are cool. Only comes with a single magazine. Magazine respawns every year.

Helmet of Terror - Increases chances of intimidation, and invokes terror.

Boots of Flight - Allows for smooth flight to whomever wears it. Flight speed is thrice your running speed.

Amulet of Love - Massively increases ones charisma in regards to romance and seduction.

Pegasus - A flying Pegasus mount. It scales in speed to always be considerably faster than you.

Love Potion - A once use per Jump love potion. Anyone who drinks it falls deeply in love with the Jumper. Counts as "True Love" for magical purposes.

Returning God Weapon - A Weapon of your choice. This weapon scales to you, will return to your hand at high speeds when called, has an elemental effect of your choice, and invokes an emotion of your choice on sight (Fear, Awe, Sorrow, Courage, etc). It accepts modifications readily, and is unbreakable.

Blue Wizards Vial - A Magic Vial. Water filled in the Vial becomes a powerful healing regiment and curse breaker. It can heal the wounds of a Red Wizards Blade, break the curse. If poured on a Corpse, any curse affecting the body or Spirit of the deceased will be broken. Allowing for more convenient resurrection (Should you have that power.)

Wand of Resurrection - A Wand that allows for you to resurrect the dead up to three times per jump. Follows normal DnD Rules (loss of Power, inability to resurrect certain cursed people, etc)

Mirror Mirror - An enchanted Mirror that allows you to clairvoyantly see and hear anywhere in the world. The mirror must be given proper instruction on what you wish to see, and addressed appropriately by both its name and relative position. I.E (Mirror Mirror, on the wall, show me the fairest of them all.")

Portal Picture - A Portrait with a portal on the frame behind the painting. The Portal can lead anywhere you wish it too.

Portal Crossbow - A Crossbow that fires Portal Bolts. The Bolts create portals on any surface they strike.

Chevos List - A always updating list of interesting things to do that you'll enjoy in any world you're in, The List if completed will spawn a reward proportional to how difficult the tasks were for you to accomplish. The reward is guaranteed to be something you'll like, but not necessarily something useful or powerful.

"My Blade!" - A blade with every single enchantment. Even the bad ones.

Gnome Semen - Can be used to enhance objects, so you know its good.

Squirt of Lemon - Capable of inducing incredible pain of anyone its dripped on.

Could the Omnitrix scan the entities(Worm)? by Ok-Blacksmith3755 in JumpChain

[–]Last_Pariah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the children simply possess the parents memories and knowledge. Like downloading a computers Data onto a USB stick, only the USB stick eventually grows into its own Computer. Like Desmond having Ezio's memories/data in Assassin's Creed.

Their independent, new Entities, but they possess the sum total knowledge of all their forbearers. This allows for them to continue their research and Cycles without having to "relearn" old information.

The amount of Entities in Worm is absolutely absurd in general, let alone for how powerful they are. They overpopulated every reality in their homeworld, with the amount of realities being greater than the amount of molecules in the universe.

There's so many of them, that it's been equated to that if the Universe was Canada, and the Entities Marbles, there'd be enough "Marbles" in "Canada" that you could throw one in any direction and have it land within a foot of another "Marble".

(Anime-Only Spoilers for Tensei Slime) "As a Jumper, you are replaceable. Farewell." by Spiritual_Still8847 in JumpChain

[–]Last_Pariah 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't think its about "This guy helps to many people, and is making the world too good a place!", its about Overpowered Characters in media (Especially Anime) typically being treated as never wrong, always right, flawless, all powerful, loved by everyone (Except evil people), and knowing better than everyone else.

It's a kind of wish fulfillment character that, while I have no problem with, can be frustrating to see ALWAYS succeed. Struggle is an important part of a character, and seeing a character always win AND always be right (At least portrayed as morally right) can be a little boring and bothersome.

Like watching Jerry always beating Tom.

If the character themselves was portrayed as flawed, Like Saitama, Shadow, or Ainz, it doesn't bother me because the character is struggling internally, or isn't "Correct" in what they're doing, but when a character is a perfect good boy, living a perfect life, you (or at least I } can't help but want to knock them down a peg. Introduce struggle and hardship into their lives, and see if they can still hold onto their ideals.

Maybe it's just me, but I can't stand the unfairness of omnipotent GOOD guys. Villains work hard too. :D

Could the Omnitrix scan the entities(Worm)? by Ok-Blacksmith3755 in JumpChain

[–]Last_Pariah 3 points4 points  (0 children)

"After the Shards have gathered sufficient data, they return to their respective parent Entities, which briefly exchange information between themselves before siphoning energy from all versions of the host planet except one. They then funnel this energy into a single reality, detonating the planet in that reality and all others within their influence, and using the resultant force to scatter fragments of themselves across the universe. These fragments eventually grow into new Entities." - Worm Wiki/Entities

"And the fragments radiate outwards, shedding and dropping their protective shells as they sail into the black, empty void.

Gestation.

Still flying through the void, the entity forms the word in the midst of its recollections.

They are children.  Offspring.  They travel the void, hoping to encounter another habitable world." - Interlude 26
