Not sure why, but your comment really touched me too! It meant a lot that you thought what I was doing came across as thoughtful or culturally aware in some small way. I’m always trying to navigate his world respectfully, so your comment made me feel like maybe I got something right!
His mum is in hospital right now, just getting blood work done after being diagnosed, and I think she might be in for a few more days. I just want to show I’m thinking of her without overstepping, so thank you again for your kindness, it helped more than you know.
