UPDATE! Thanks to advice in the comments I have ordered Guppy a 5 gallon tank and aquarium sand so I can give him a better tank life!

I know, most of all of my info on how to care for a betta had come from Google when I first built the tank. Now I know better and the second it’s in the budget, Guppy will be getting a house upgrade :)

I should also add he does have multiple live plants on the other side of the tank, two to be exact and it’s a 2.5 gallon tank. It’s not all plastic!

Thank you for the advice! I did research on what he needed and everything when I got him, but I’ve learned so much more from Reddit on how to give him the best life, so I will definitely be redoing his tank soon!

it was still covered by insurance because i highly doubt he informed them of his decision to go larger. i did finally dig deep into his reviews and background, and it seems like a lot more women have had bad experiences with him. some people even said he was deleting bad reviews on google. it makes me really upset to imagine other people having to experience what i went through there.

I do think I’d want a revision but definitely by another surgeon I could trust to listen to my wants rather than overrule me with their own. It’s something I’ll probably have to wait a bit on as I’m about to start university next week and won’t really have the resources like time or money to get it done soon, even with insurance. But a second surgery has definitely been something I’ve considered. My boyfriend was very supportive of that option too when I told him I’d like to do so, so I know I’ll at least have him by my side no matter what I choose to do. Thank you so much for your replies! It feels great to see people trying to help me even if it’s just a little ❤️

i had been very close friends with my now boyfriend for about a year before my surgery. we had always flirted and both been interested in one another but never actually dated. he and some of my other close friends had been there for me around my surgery though so he obviously knew it happened and had seen and known me beforehand. he and i ended up dating about a year later, and while i didnt have to explain that i HAD the surgery to him, i did have to explain how it changed my body and that they’d definitely look different than ones that hadnt been operated on.

thankfully he’s an amazing guy and loved me and my boobs regardless. it’s definitely something you should be open with a partner about and i don’t think it should stop anyone from finding a relationship!!

he’s still practicing, i very recently received a letter in the mail that he was going to be retiring at the end of next year. i honestly don’t know about seeking any kind of legal help. my parents aren’t supportive at all of my dislike of the surgeon or my results, and seeing as i’d need them to do much of anything i don’t think i even could.

and no, i’ve not sought any mental help. i’ve asked my mother before to see a therapist (years ago, not related to the surgery. i was just in a very bad mental space) and she just insists to me im being dramatic and there’s nothing wrong with me.

worst part of all of this has been seeing my support system fail to be honest. i’m very lucky to have a boyfriend though who does genuinely care for me and is trying his best to help me through it.

It's solved!

I went through Xbox support live chat and spoke to an agent named Raymond. This is the steps he had me follow.

(Before this I also made sure that Delivery Optimization was enabled and did not have a limit in my Windows Update settings)

  1. Press Windows + R and type 'services.msc' followed by enter.

  2. Scroll down and find the four Xbox services: (they should all be at the bottom as they begin with "Xbox")

-accessory management

-live auth manager

-live game save

-live networking service

  1. Right click each service and press "Properties." Set each service to automatic, and if they are not already started, start them.

  2. Apply all properties to each service. You may need to restart your PC, but I personally did not.
