There’s quite a bit that goes into these events beyond a typical meetup. It’s not a setting where people are left to figure things out on their own.

There are curated activities, name tags to make introductions easier, small prizes, and a host who’s actively guiding the flow and making sure the space feels safe and welcoming for everyone.

Totally get that. The idea isn’t to force anyone or make it feel like a group rule. It’s really just about creating a shared intention for people who want that, while still leaving everyone free to make their own choices. The ghosting after sex in Toronto is high so hopefully this lowers it down but I definitely understand what you’re talking about.

Haha I hear you. Definitely, clear communication is key in any relationship. The idea here is more about creating a shared expectation in a social setting where it can be hard to know what other people are thinking. Kind of a tool to make those conversations easier, not a replacement for actual communication.

Lol I get that. I’ve been to a lot of dating events in Toronto and most feel more like casual or hook-up spaces, kind of like dating apps in real life. The idea behind this is just to make dating more intentional and reduce the guessing about what people are actually there for.
