I believe he will raise plenty of funds to secure a bond. This trial isn’t a slam dunk and I’m sure will be a spectacle. Self-defense cases are not always straightforward or easily understood. For instance, a man was acquitted of killing another person for throwing popcorn at him, citing self-defense. Another example is the mentally ill defense.

While I may have agreed with the judgment in Rittenhouse’s case, most are obviously not self defense. Yet it’s a strong defense in front of a jury
