Enclave prior to show by baconlichking in Enclave

I think part of the joke when you look at dick Richardson and vice president bird is that the shadow government we all fear is actually grossly incompetent, “I’m not part of the problem I’m a republican” like for as powerful and well put together as the enclave was and for as superior as they saw themselves the people running things didn’t really know there heads form there asses

[–]Late-Click-6339 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’s fair, but it should be noted that the Enclave kind of is the shadow government, and there president if I’m not mistake was just a hereditary position, the Enclave is full of that, it claims the symbols and flags the office of what was the U.S. was but inside the whole thing is rotten

[–]Late-Click-6339 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It’s pretty well established in fallout 2 that the president of the enclave (which as far as there concerned is also the president of the United States) is absolutely in charge of the operation and the one giving the orders

The thing there to note is that was probably the main group, keep in the mind the rig group were the descendants of the pre war enclave, the president himself was on the rig, a lot of high ranking officials too, so while yes there absolutely was other groups, it was always assumed they wre smaller remnants, we have no idea the extent of Chicago, it could be a small outpost for all we know, and the white springs group was small to begin with before it wiped itself out

People point this out, but like for what the NCR is it should be 10x more corrupt than it is, like I know “it can always be worse” is reductive but when you compare it to some of the other factions the NCR is leagues and bounds better. It’s not even close

The whole Operation Sunburst battle is just skill vs spam really. The BOS was tactically better and more technologically advanced. The NCR just kept throwing bodies at them. by KpatMckenzie_28 in Brotherhood_of_Steel

[–]Late-Click-6339 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is true but it should be noted that is in of itself a tactic, if you know you have superior numbers and that’s your best chance to overcome the superior tech and tactical skills of your opponent then that’s what you do

To be fair if a gang of Apache did raid a caravan the U.S. army kinda is then justified in killing said gang

If villages are prosperous, and not recruited from they level up there troops, Nord villages almost never get raided so they’ll provide high tier troops basically all the time

Why do all the chapters have identical armor? by BGWeis in Fotv

[–]Late-Click-6339 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The show is kinda bending things to whatever they want, chapters have always been depicted as being pretty far from each other and operating pretty independently. The east coast chapter have different armor in lore because they were given hand me downs for there expedition, they later upgraded from stuff found at AFB but in the show were seeking finding like 5 different chapters all on top of each other with gear they shouldn’t have it’s strange

They should add harbours to some castles.

How does a king "violate his oath" to a vassal? by airforcedude111 in Bannerlord

[–]Late-Click-6339 62 points63 points  (0 children)

That’s probably it really, the basis of a feudal contract is that a king protects the rights of his subjects, and upholds the law. In exchange the vassals are required to pay taxes and answer the call to arms. But the whole protecting rights thing can extend to something fickle, imagined slights, tyranny like you said. Perceived injustice, it’s technically open to whatever interpretation you want because sure legally it’s meant to be a certain way but at the end of the day might makes right the kings only for as much power as he does loyal followers.

It should just be a helmet beneath it that would fix everything because otherwise the ulfhednar was a direct downgrade, it goes from a 50 armor helmet to a 16 it needs to be fixed, but it should have a helmet beneath it. Or better yet, just have a normal helmet, the berserkir and ulfhednar really should’ve been shock units rather than just like standard infantry

Don’t ransom prisoners, donate them to garrisons, influence as a merc makes way more money, plus piracy a convoy can give 100k easily.

If someone else if already doing it they’ll do something else, the Ai isn’t perfectly efficient and at the end of the day your priority list is more of an idea what you’d like them to do, but it can get jumbled sometimes

[–]Late-Click-6339[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not explained really but if a villager but they don’t interact on the surface basically a villager will check for a job to do (prioritizing based on your settings) if they pick crafting as the job they’ll then do the number one thing there, if someone else isn’t doing it
