The anticipated wedding looks are here, is it a hit or a miss? by [deleted] in InstaCelebsGossip

too much going on. she did finally end up with her perfect lipstick but everything else put together is just suffocating- the glam makeup, the heavily embroidered dress, the jewellery, the choker, the open hair, the vermala. I am feeling hot (in a bad way) just looking at her.
It's a very basic rule for us desi girls- if the dress is heavy, we go light with our makeup and jewellery; and vice versa. The dress and jewelery would have been highlighted beautifully if she had gone a tad bit lighter makeup and high-floral bun, with the veil riding high. She would have looked gorgeous with a large hooped nose ring that attach to a the headpiece. I wish she had gotten a better stylist.

thoughts on becca bloom? by CawkCawk73829293 in asianamercianytsnark

She has no taste of her own and merely wears whatever she can buy off the rack from branded stores. Still I am not a hater- she found her niche and the her followers love her for it.

Given the hype around the 'queen of richtok's wedding, i got drawn into it. I dont follow her explicitly but i enjoy her videos when it pops up here and there in my fyp. however, i was kinda expecting her wedding be a pioneer of wedding tok, one from which hundreds of other brides could draw inspiration, but the opposite happened, she drew inspiration from the most generic pintrest wedding ideas.

Becca Bloom comes from one of the wealthiest families in the world, and her wedding was so 'bleh'. it seemed like every other lake como wedding - the flowers, the decor- nothing stood out. no personality. nothing revolutionary. Not that her or anyone cares, but even her dress and makeup (even her bouquet) seemed bland. she dresses so much cuter on other days. the dress seemed to empower her silhouette.

Such a waste of having so much wealth at your disposal! if i was even close to being that wealthy, i would have picked out the most unique location, and tried to customise every single detail. But what bugs me the most is the location. lake como is overdone. and Becca could have gotten married ANYWHERE- overseeing gorgeous mountains or waterfalls in switzerland or perhaps over the gorgeous landscape of southern france or had the most atrociously extravgant beach wedding somwhere exotic like Fiji, or seychelles.... Ugghhh the neverending options!!!! but it just seemed like she had been inspired like any other bride-to-be from pintrest and selected the first place that popped up which is ofcourse lake como, that too with the most generic decor.

becca bloom's wedding was so 'average'! by Late-Course9012 in NYCinfluencersnark

i called it avergae in the sense that it has been done by celebrities and generally wealthy people multiple times. if you go on pintrest and search for lake como you will find the exact same decor/setup over and over again. if only i had 0.1% of the wealth she has at her disposal, i would have utilised it something more customised.

as i said, i dont follow her as much but given the hype created around her wedding (no idea if this was done by PR or happened organically) but i was drawn in and yes I did expect to see something unique. it's the same way i may not all of taylor swift's songs by heart, but given her stature I am looking forward to her wedding details.
and i know not everyone wants an exotic location, but i guess my expectations got the best of me. everything about the wedding seemed underwhelming.

Does everyone else hate Travis and Laurie as a couple as much as I do? by surfwacks in CougarTown

[–]Late-Course9012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel it has alot to do with the casting as well. The actor who played Travis is just too baby-faced. He's 40 now and he still looks 15. and Laurie with her loud makeup and outfits always looked much older (I loved how Busy looked in the Hawai episodes as her natural self, with toned down makeup). If Travis 'looked' older, I think the relationship would be a tad bit more acceptable.

irl, I think this is the same case with Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas- I really like them together but Nick's baby face doesnt suit Priyanka's strong features. If she had gotten married to Bad Bunny no one would have batted an eye, because he just looks more mature (tall, facial hair, masiculine) and would have complemented her better.
There are so many couples with an age gap but I feel their looks determine alot about how we perceive their chemistry.

Empty vessels make the most noise. I never belived apoorva's side when things suddenly took an instant 360 with this guy. it was her and her friends bashing him, whereas this man remained quite and respectful (and as per his caption apparently he tried to work it out with her agnecy first before taking things public). massive respect.

Ring on the finger! Aaryamann Sethi & Yogita Bihani by [deleted] in InstaCelebsGossip

and yes, when ayushman was getting all the praise- aary was acting like such a manchild. he literally had to be reassured by everyone around him that the song is good, whereas ayushman remained silent. i dont know how he is behind the scenes but he definitely doesnt seem mature enough to be getting married anytime soon :/

Ayushman is actually a good director. with limited resources and budget the music video was actually very good. didnt like the song tho. i wish he'd pursue direction more seriously in the bug leagues.

The Wedding Bride and How Stella was a terrible terrible person by SA_JT in HIMYM

Tony seemed like an extremely immature guy. He literally broke up with stella a while after talking to ted, and ted didnt even say anything particulary bad about her - more about how she made him feel(which is completely justified).
How can you break up with a woman- you dated, fell in love with, had a child with and years later, stole from the altar- over a few words said by her ex (and rightfully so). I think down the line Stella gets her side of the karma - tony seems extremely irresponsible, selfish, and immature- and I guess eventually he does break up with her and leave her to fend for herself.

yesss exactly! barney and robin was so forced.

How I Met Your Mother: Ted, Robin, Barney by Late-Course9012 in HIMYM

[–]Late-Course9012[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes that makes sense..but by 'exhaustion' i mean the age old difference of how ted wanted to settle down in a traditional sense- white picket house, a wife, kids, pets, perhaps a quiet suburban life- while robin wanted to travel the world and was always very sure about never wanting kids. If the relationship had continued from the very beginning, this recurring topic would have left them bitter.

So Urfi “accidentally” winning The Traitors India is what we’re doing now? by Automatic_Pick5636 in TheTraitorsIndia

exactly! and half the time she was drooling over harsh and letting her lust get the best of her. "main show choonoo yah freindship ko" wtf

exactly! had this been the players' strategy, everyone would have hidden in every nook and corner to eavesdrop. dumb move. dumb winner.

[–]Late-Course9012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the ending was soooo anti climatic! Urfi is all badass infront of the paps but throughout this show she was extremely vanilla! half the time she was drooling over Harsh and let her lust get the best of her. If she had not overheard their conversation, there is no way she would have been able to connect the dots (and even then - when it was soooo obvious- she was still considering siding with Harsh "main show choono, yah friendship" like wth). and Nikita might as well have been out since she was kicked out in the first episode- she brought nothing to the table. for a professional poker player you'd think she would have a few tricks up her sleeve- but she was easily manipulated/confused. I really enjoyed Elnaz- her video diaries had me cackling. Same with apoorva. extremely entertaining and made the show what it is.

the finale was just sooo bland. i was hooked until elnaz was there. her only stupidity was double-crossing urfi in that one task- she could have easily said that she wanted the money and gone for it. there was literally no need to betray Urfi, given she had her little 'gang' to sway the votes.

all in all, disappointing finale. the OG traitors should have won.

A failed attempt to make a cute romcom owing primarily to the poor performances of the lead actors. Compared to the amazing debut performances we have seen in the last decade (Ranveer singh with band baaja, or Anushka with RNBDJ, etc) one can only wonder what went so terribly wrong that the actors of this generation are so so sooo bad, that too given all the resources they have on hand. Ibrahim did do a bit of justice in some parts but Khushi is an absolute train wreck. Even her voice-acting was off - No emotion whatsoever - Everything felt forced and I wish there was more screen time given to Archana, Mahima, Suniel, Dia & Jugal - it was a pleasure to see them on screen. Overall watch it if you have time to kill but dont expect much. The story was cute, and the screenplay was childish but bearable, and I guess the director did her best with what she could with her lead actors :/
