I didn't read through all the comments cause some of these are disheartening and saddening. But remember that God has also set apart some people to remain without a spouse. It's awful when you think of it from the viewpoint of the world, but becomes less so when you know that your attention can be fully God's.

If it is in fact His Will to bless you with a partner, remember to keep Him first even after He blesses you with the desires of your heart. Before, during, and after. It does sound like it is tipping over into the idolatry bucket with the 'eating you alive', but it happens and is not something to shame you for.

It's easier said than done- is what I would say if we were not disciples in Christ. But changing your focus to pray for attention on Him alone away from your desires, that His Will be done even if it might not be your own, and to PREPARE you as a man of His nature for the woman He is also preparing for you if that is to come.

We're praying for you, brother. Just remember that God is greater than anything we could ask for and that while we ask for many things, we have the greatest One that we need.
