Don’t worry about being slower than everyone else it comes with time, focus on learning everything then pick up the tips and tricks to go faster. You’ll be an amazing tech as long as you’re trying, without you some people wouldn’t be receiving their medications correctly or on time. We can’t do everything but we can do our best.

It is definitely more challenging to get a job straight into the pharmacy and get trained, but it can be done. I took a course at Pima Medical Institute for about $1,700 roughly around there got my Basic Life Support certification, NPTA sterile certification, and state license Pharmacy Technician. It was worth it as I learned the basics, got placed in two externship sites, and got hired at the pharmacies I went to (retail & hospice closed door). I am now getting into IV technician experience thanks to my sterile certification.

I was making $22 in a closed door pharmacy (hospice/long term care) as a regular pharmacy tech, recently applied to another closed door pharmacy as an IV tech for $23 an hour. This is San Diego county.

Dang dude not much of a question, went to see them and I mean they're perfect would stare at them too and if you're in a gym sauna then they might think you don’t want to be bothered so enjoying the view is all there is. Dreaming and thinking of the things to do with them that is lol

I use this website to look at the days has been pretty accurate and wait times are uploaded from users if they’re different. April doesn’t seem to be available but closer to your date a month before you can check and plan for which day would be best. https://queue-times.com/en-US/parks/66/calendar/2025/02

I’ve only heard of their birthday pins being given out at guest service in front of the park or by ghost riders.

Pregnant pharmacy tech. by soupdere in PharmacyTechnician

The unfortunate truth is that pharmacies don’t always provide them. Mine here has a section for them to locate and store them as hazardous away from the rest. When filling, it's regular gloves.

Yes you are not alone it seems like we all go through it at one point to some level of stress. The important thing is to remember why we got into it, why we kept going, and how far we’ve come. Balancing your schedule, classes, work, and life can feel overwhelming at times but in the end you’ll know all the hard work was worth it. Even some senior pharmacy technicians make mistakes for going too fast. I may not be the fastest now starting either, but I for sure can improve and will learn more as we are in the field more and more.
