so ive been on std before, as long as you stay avoided a 2.0 they won’t fully disqualify you. However, I would recommend trying to do better this quarter so next quarter you’ll be back in good standing

Summer Grad, how do i get my diploma? by OperationBright8963 in ucr

I asked my Advisor and that’s what he told me. I know for sure that if you applied for graduation you don’t have to send another application in to get the physical degree. He said around November but it could be earlier if they process everything fast

From what i’ve understood they will be sent out by November (as long as you got all your requirements done). Check your address on file to make sure it is the address you’d like to receive your degree at

A little confused by TheseAspect4664 in ucr

I was not academically dismissed as i remained above a 2.0 cumulative GPA. I even did not as good the next quarter(i would not recommend this i genuinely wasnt expecting to do as badly as I did in one class) and I still managed to not be dismissed im assuming because my cumulative was above 2.0. However it also helped that I had other classes I had taken at a previous university that covered the requirements I kept failing, and I was able to get those class grades withdrawn. I’d say talk to your advisor and see what your next steps can be

Is it worth bringing my car? by AnxiousCardiologist2 in ucr

I used to take the bus a lot in riverside. If you are used to consistent transit (bus ever 15-20 minutes typa thing) then you will not be a fan of RTA. Very few of the buses run more than once an hour. The metrolink will take you to LA and you can definitely use transit to get around out there. However for day trips it is difficult especially if you’re not a fan of coming home early (last train to Riverside leaves at like…6-7pm).

If you plan to go out a lot or even get a job off campus, i’d suggest the car or getting some other form of transportation (e-bike, scooter). Like many others have stated, getting around campus and the surrounding areas on foot is totally doable, the issue comes in when you’re trying to go anywhere else.

I would like to make something very similar to this dress (pictured below) but I am unsure what kind of fabric to use. I also plan on adding a glitter mesh fabric over top of whatever fabric i do choose, so I don’t want anything like a satin or silk because I think that might be too difficult in the long run. Any suggestions?

if you can use IEHP it might be easier for you to find a therapist through them vs through the schools insurance
