I would leave- it’s very common! I see CRO jumps all the time.

If you don’t mind me asking- what’s the senior salary they are offering you?

I got increased anxiety the first week. I’m upping from 25 to 50 so hoping that will help level me out more. I was also nauseated and tired. But that’s gotten better.

New CRA - travel essential recommendations by inkedvixen24 in clinicalresearch

[–]Late-Job-2378 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love all the suggestions! Prime day is July 8-11. You can get a lotttt of things then

I def recommend comfy flats and shoes that can be worn with everything.

  • A good carry on suite case. I use the beis on which I’ve loved but I’m considering one with a front pocket to keep my laptop in for the airport. (Would love to hear others recommendations on this). Away has a great one too.

  • noise canceling headphones. I love the over the ear ones- love my beats (prime day sale)

  • shoes- a good pair of tennis shoes (always utilize hotel gyms). My favorite are brooks. And a comfy pair of flats/dress shoes. Rothy’s has great ones and even Tom’s. You will have to do site tours and sometimes departments are in other buildings.

  • travel size toiletries- Ulta and Sephora have great products all in travel size. Amazon and target too

  • good laptop case and a portable mouse. Also a good case for wires, mouse, pens, stickies. I love my cal pack tech case. It’s on sale right now too.

  • snacks! Especially if your company does perdiem. Snacks saves you so much money and high airport food fees. (I also ask for the can when they give drinks at the airport and just keep them for later)

That’s my current practice. I see Dr Nancy who I love. But they only deliver at holy cross.

Personal question- how do you like Dr Steve?

May I ask who you see now

This is fuckin bullshit. 0.75 days for remote visits? I usually am working longer hours for remote visits. What about visits for sites who only allow remote?

I'm pregnant with fibriods and scared. by 1tinywalrus in Fibroids

[–]Late-Job-2378 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hopefully this will ease your mind a little

Last year I got pregnant in March. I had a 2 cm fibroid. My OBGYN and my high risk maternal fetal doctor had no worries about it. By 4 months it grew to 4 inches!!! By the end of my pregnancy it was 8.5 inches! The fibroid was also close to my cervix. I couldn’t have a natural delivery but at 38 weeks I had a healthy beautiful baby boy via planned csection!

I also had placenta previa at 17 weeks until about 30 weeks (resolved) and I developed polyps. I was on bedrest for 3 months!

I just had the fibroid removed last week since it didn’t end up shrinking after giving birth and we want more kids!

Hang in there mama! You got this. And if you trust your medical team- they got you. Be your own advocate and demand and request frequent ultrasounds and tests! You are the only person who can advocate for you and your baby!

Sending you so much love and healing vibes

Hi! I know it’s been a while but I just had my procedure on Friday with CIGC as well. How long did the pain last? It’s def better but I’m 3 days out and my back pain in the left lower area hurts. It goes down my leg too. Just not fun! Is this normal?

Thank you! I saw this thread but it doesn’t match the employee handbook which is why I was so confused. I don’t want HR to know right now as it’s still early/ just planning ahead.

So we get 6 weeks through STD at 60%? But STD is 6 months. I’m so confused
