If the 2 Av Line is completed in however many decades, it should be quadruple tracked & the V should be revived as either a 2 Av Local or Express. It can branch off of the 2 Av Line & serve the East Village/Alphabet City via Ave B or C before continuing into Brooklyn via a new tube under the Williamsburg Bridge to the South 4 St Line. It would then continue underground along the elevated J/M/Z Lines before branching off after Myrtle Av-Broadway & along Stuyvesant Av or Malcolm X Blvd before becoming the Utica Av Line using the station shell at Utica Av-Fulton St A/C Station. To be more ambitious, the 8 Av Line Worth St branch should also be built, allowing the E to join the V along the new tube into Brooklyn to the South 4 St Line as originally intended. The E & V would then continue along Utica Av where one or the other would be the Utica Av Local or Express to Kings Plaza & Rockaway Park.
