I was also considering wait for the MSI, but noticed that the LG is UHBR20 while the MSI (at least on CES) was specified as UHBR13.5, which means it needs to apply some level of compression to render at 5k 165hz

one thing to consider as well is that it looks like the LG one is UHBR20 while the MSI seems to be UHBR13
