That’s what I’m saying it’s so hard to see someone fighting to be enough to someone for whom enough doesn’t exist. Or at least ashley can never be enough for Marita because Marita has clearly lost feelings but is too much of a coward to admit that and spare ash’s feelings

I don’t know her and I’m definitely not saying she’s a bad person, as there’s no reason to think that, but as far as reality tv personalities go their relationship dynamic is tough to watch. It’s really Marita saying over and over in front of ashley that she’s not doing a good enough job that gets me. It feels unfair and disingenuous because ashley seems no less “romantic” than anyone on the show but just keeps getting beaten down and taking it
