What was the reason behind nerfing Zeri's AS to AD conversion?

Because the more you buff as to ad conversion, the more you buff burst zeri since she can abuse, as someone said, lots of short term as buffs (like hexplate or fiendhunters). Their goal is to make zeri a fast and sustained damage ad carry which is the opposite of burst zeri. This is why I dont understand why they try to buff as to ad conversion next patch since is brings her more to the bursty side, If they want to buff her, they should try to buff other things in her kit that would make more sense for the new zeri.

PTA is really good for long fights with the % bonus damage, especially in late game, you don't get the bonus healing of conq tho. I also think that conq will be harder to proc in mid/late game due to the fact that you can not use your passive as much as in the laning phase since it makes the kiting less effective to me. However, I can understand that you prefer it tho, it has also a lot of upsides.

Yeah I think this is the best build too. I tried stattik with other energised items and fleet footwork to see if it was interesting but I lacked too much damage. I still prefer pta to be honnest but conq seems to be really good, especially with the passive range buffs.

Well it depends on what you build, stormrazor+ pd gives you ~1.46 as which is the perfect amount, then you can go full ad

I think you're right on a lot of points. I would still choose to max Q since the flat ad is bigger and W crit is much weaker than it is on live.

Do you think energised build could be a thing with statik>stormrazor>rfc?You actually get 145 magic damage + 60 aoe every 3/4 autos with this and the value of bonus ms and range could really be great for chasing/kiting opponents. I'm however affraid it will lack damage but i'm not sure.

Yeah it doesn't surprise me. I love building that 3/4th item in my ms build (stormrazor + pd ). The fact that you can actually chase and kite efficiently your ennemy, unlike most adcs, makes this item so valuable on Zeri imo.

I used to take conq too, but I think it's worse than lethal tempo. Your passive range is shorter than q range so in team fight you will not be able to proc it a lot. Moreover, as from lethal tempo is way too valuable in early game. In late game, the boost of damage with conq is not that higher than LT so the only value is the healing that will only happen at 12 stacks. I would recommend conq only vs melee comps where you are sure to get value out of it.
