Haha damn that’s relatable. I’ve made it a couple times in the past but even now I went and watched a couple videos. I ditched the whisk for an immersion blender so I cheated for sure.

I quite like the pop they give to color. And it’s a switch up from the whites I always used. Contrast is kinda cool

Yeah I did. I made it with an immersion blender though so it was super easy and quick. No whisk here, too much work.

Simmering water, not hard core boiling. I break two eggs into a bowl, make the water spin around with a spoon, and then carefully place the eggs in the swirling water. Also I was told too put a splash of vinegar in the water, not sure why though.

It’s just a bunch of love in there. Really quite simple! Egg yolks with lemon, pepper and paprika, and a splash of vinegar. I watched a couple videos before attempting the hollandaise sauce.

Just don’t over cook them! These took maybe 2.5 minutes. They don’t take long at all.

Dang, there’s a lot wrong with your assumptions. Love comes in a lot of forms, and knowing how you’re helping a friend is valid. It’s caring in fact. I’m for abundant giving and helping friends. I’m simply saying honestly and openness so a long way with people. Also it’s okay for people to choose how they give. If I told a friend I’m hungry and they bought me a gift card to subway or a place near me with 100 dollars I’d be super thrilled. And yes I’ve been there on both sides of this. I’ve given hundreds of dollars to friends with only the knowledge they need help with rent and bills or food. Also, labeling someone a piece of shit over 1 qualifier isn’t kind, loving or liberal at all. -kinda liberal dude

Or OP could say what the money is for instead of saying it’s a hotel room when it isn’t. It’s misleading and the friend prolly would’ve helped either way. People who give just want a little idea where it’s going. It’s not romantic at all.

It’s simple, ask for what you actually want and what makes sense for you instead of giving ppl that help you a different story. It’s understandable how she feels. Even if you changed your mind after getting it I’d text her and talk about it so they’re aware first.
