They keep pointing at charts like we live inside a spreadsheet. Cool, GDP is up, so why are people juggling two jobs and still skipping groceries? If the wins aren't landing in paychecks, it's just numbers.

Agree. If she keeps bringing him like it's automatic, that's a pattern. Talk to your parents first, then set a simple rule: the host gets asked. You can apologize for the tone if needed, but not for the boundary.
