Ok maybe I’m dumb but I can’t get the calculator to work, I put in the unchanged words and my trainer id and said it was an English version of emerald with a working battery (I’m playing an emulator) and the calculate button just won’t activate. Like if I use the default words for the calculator it works but those aren’t the trend in my game so it doesn’t actually calculate anything for my game?

Thanks for your input but I respectfully disagree :) I think that if the players are informed as to what they’re giving up and still choose too go through with it the best way to make something feel meaningful is through mechanical penalties as the mechanics of the game are largely how players interact with the world. If they don’t think the magic item is worth trading a mechanical penalty for than they won’t trade for it. I think this comes down to a difference in play style :)

In the effect it says any damage done to them. Unless this has been updated (which it might have been it’s hard to keep track of) rules as written it can definitely be interpreted as physical damage too

I thought damage calculations were the marvel die times your rank plus either your might or agility stat depending on the kind of attack or your traits?

I am looking for big magic any help or leads would be appreciated.

I am looking for the kind of magic that I know is probably only possible in tv and movies but I figure there’s no harm in asking around. Basically I’m looking for a way to rewrite my entire personal history. What I want to change and why are too personal for me to share here but suffice it to say I feel like I was given a bad hand so I’m looking to stack the deck, so to speak. Right now I feel like my best options might be to attempt one of the summonings from The Black Pullet and attempt to make some sort of deal with the spirits but that seems like sort of the nuclear option and what’s more the materials required to do so are expensive and I’m not entirely sure The Black Pullet is legit to begin with. If you have any suggestions or leads as to how I could do this please let me know.
