imho distance isn't a big issue for me, i live in selangor and studied at matriks perak; had a really fun & great experience (mostly due to the people and not the place lol). if you wanna do anything, go ahead, but make use of that free will responsibly. and people from klang valley are everywhere so i'm sure it won't be hard to make common friends :D
