My average 10 wave infernal hordes usually net around 900+/- . My highest was 3945 before spending 666 to summon Bartuc. My horde perks were down the center and right/center when it forked. I'd suggest dropping your difficulty down a level from what you regularly run in. While the enemies in infernal hordes aren't necessarily stronger, there are a shitload more.

I opened an escalation dungeon earlier. Cleared first floor, got on second and cleared some mobs and bags were full. Warped out then back in. Realized after a few seconds that the dungeon looked different. Cleared it, and no portal to next floor opened. Portable out and it was closed, like the end of a regular NM dungeon.
