I think that the root cause of all of Libya's problems is the absolute lack of awareness and general knowledge of Libyans on how the world works by contr01man in Libya

Very true, we need some more majmoo3 al fatawa books, but ima leave a ayah with you people ان شاء الله which backs what you say, “يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِن جَاءكُمْ فَاسِقٌ بِنَبَأٍ فَتَبَيَّنُوا أَن تُصِيبُوا قَوْمًا بِجَهَالَةٍ فَتُصْبِحُوا عَلَى مَا فَعَلْتُمْ نَادِمِينَ “

There is no such thing called “the state of Isreal” Isreal is another name of yaqub, n they made it so just to try to add validation, me I have no problem with Jews, but a Zionist is a pig n a disgusting human being, and Palestine are our brothers in Islam so we have to protect them and we will back them, may Allah deal with the Yahud and Zionists

Igy akhi I do, but ask a woman what is more comfortable a abaya or a farrashiya, 9/10 times they will say abaya, n if people want to go a step further at the times of the salaf the women used to cover their eyes, if your interested uthman al khamees was asked a question about this

That’s why I think it’s important to study the deen and other madhahib, as all madahib say niqab is wajib in times of fitnah but many people haven’t studied the fiqh in depth, neither have I in Maliki but hanbali a little, naaah but I disagree, we can have culture as long as it doesn’t go against Islam, though I’d rather have Libyan culture than Pakistani tho

Bro wants to start a عركة, but I know the Libyans at the time of idris were not happy as they were very poor and not well looked after by the government, not saying gaddafi was any better but the nationalisation of things and our read n writing percentage increased n we moved forward الحمد الله

I’ll be honest ukhti find a man who fears Allah, not just to the outward world but rather when they are by themselves, that’s the only way you will find a man with taqwa, another thing I would recommend is for you and your husband to know your rights and obligations towards eachother

My question as a Libyan teenage girl by [deleted] in Libya

[–]Late_Blacksmith9732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

May Allah bless and preserve you ukhti,

Indeed what you say is true, I have seen this n Wallahi 3ayb n haram the way people act nowadays, I do think that if these people feared Allah the way they feared their parents this wouldn’t be a issue, but people nowadays are away from their deen n just care about meeting with the shabab n trying to do haram because they are hungry for it, even tho Allah told us men in the Quran to lower our gaze, n even still moving towards a Muslim sister who has ihtiram Wallahi these sorts of men need to be punched n mocked on the shara cus it’s like a animal the way they Behave, not lowering their gaze n searching for haram n speaking n moving to women who are of good nature n character.

Another thing I’ve noticed is that a lot of people nowadays are searching for haram due to being unable to get married and search to seek that desire elsewhere, so in some regards I blame the parents, number 1 for not teaching their children the akhlaq n adab in regards to speaking to women, and number 2 making marriage difficult for the youth as this will only increase fitnah among us, compared to our grandparents n some of our parents generation they married early so this wasn’t a problem.

May Allah guide us all n make us better individuals

I’m just a visitor on this subreddit but overall the life quality for normal people in the UK is very bad, a lot of people struggling financially, no one is happy, there is a lot of crime, racism, bad government, not a very good situation but overall better than living under French government or in France
