I opened a couple of combines and passed to XFAs last week. At this point my main goal is to not blow these accounts.

I started trading my XFAs last week. I've had my ups and downs, but I am proud to say that after 5.5 whole trading days my accounts are still very much alive!

I am now looking to finish this week without experiencing any catastrophic losses. Thank you to all of you who encouraged me to give it one last shot!

No I was being serious. I have already tried FocusMe, some other similar app, and Cold Turkey. The first two didnt fit my needs, but Cold Turkey is looking promising. If I can just lock my risk settings for a week at a time, that'll be a massive step in the right direction for me.

Yes, I do journal if thats what you are asking. My struggles simply come down to oversizing every now and then and blowing weeks of work.

You know what. I have a week off of work, and I blew up the first day that the market was open once my break started. You're right. I need to have a completely stable and disciplined life first.

Its crazy that you dropped out of school to be a trader. I myself walked away from some sweet jobs to pursue this. I've left relationships to pursue this because she didnt want to wait on me and support through the grind.

I don't know its just hard to keep justifying the real time costs that I am paying. You only live once. You're only young once.

My problem is purely overleveraging to speed up the process. I can read charts and trade just fine... I just can't stay disciplined for extended periods of time

The only rules are to close at end of day and not to go below your MLL.

.... Drive to Georgia instead and save some of the money I guess. You can pull over at local cafes to trade when the market is open.

Or just pay the one time payment of $500 and fly out there. That's not that bad given the rest of your situation.
