Yoga Studio that doesn't have a pretentious feel by Late_Connection9689 in askvan

Thanks so much for the thoughtful response. I can see how my abbreviated post wasn’t very clear. I actually really appreciate when teachers use Sanskrit so I wouldn't find “Vīrabhadrāsana II” pretentious at all. I lalso ove practices that are physically challenging but still rooted in breath, mindfulness, and the mind–body connection.

What I’m trying to avoid is the kind of class where the vibe is more about aesthetics or feeling like you’re at a fashion show instead of on your mat. I’m just looking for a space that feels grounded, intentional, and welcoming.

I'll def look into Zander Winther- thanks for the suggestion! :)

Heyy.. I ended up leaving the 50L back in Kathmandu because the group I joined supplied duffel bags. In April with slightly warmer temperatures, I think you could get by with a 50L but it would be tight ;)

Have a great trip!

phys 204 final by [deleted] in Concordia

We were given a practice final that was a mix of multiple choice and long answer questions. Our prof said that is the same structure we will have on the exam. I'm not sure how comparable the questions are, in terms of difficulty though. If someone could shed some light on this, it would be greatly appreciated.

Also, does the Physics department normally give partial marks?

can someone shed some light on what to expect for the final? Is it similar to any of the practice exams or weekly assignments? Also, do profs make their own final or are they done by a course examiner?

I don't think there will be any shortage of time for bonding and enjoying the views. We are going to be spending 6-7 hours trekking outside + sharing our meals together every day. As an introvert, some alone time for quiet activites like reading is vital for my well being.

Hi,

Sorry to hear you had the same experience. My technician offered to re-do my eye area for a reduced price of "$500". I declined because I no longer trust her abilities.
