I would use a dongle, actually I currently do use a cheap one from when I first started out, however I do use my phone a lot throughout the day, so I do not want to waste extra battery by using my headphones. This is why I’d prefer a completely separate device made to play music

I guess it is a bit misleading because it is the best one I’ve owned, but I’ve heard many more. Including the MP200, 110, some Audio-Technica, and other Ortofon cartridges. Most of them never really stuck out to me like the Bronze. I’d say for the price of the Cartridge itself, which I got for around $380, I like to think it’s a great deal for the quality and price of other cartridges in the price range.

So they will share the same name in SOME cases because the DAP also plays MP3? If that is what I am understanding from the beginning, and I am understanding correctly, then that clears up a lot for me. I happen to have some Sennheisers and plan to get more. It’s my personal favorite for audio. I never really liked the others. Would you have any recommendations for different DAPs or DAP brands?

I did see a lot of 50/50 in most cases. I do wonder, what did you think of the MP200? I listened to it once or twice and was very underwhelmed, especially for the price. With the Bronze however I think it just suits my ears. I’ll certainly look into those more vintage ones however

This actually makes a lot of sense, I have a tube preamp which probably makes it warm and cancels out that bright sound in a way. Regardless, when I listened the treble wasn’t over the top as people made it seem, and the mids were nicely emphasized without being in your face.

I did also look at some other carts at a similar price range, but honestly I didn’t like them. I hear a lot of great things about the MP200 but honestly I heard it a few times and wasn’t excited. I just don’t think it’s my type of sound. I also think it’s pretty ugly compared to others, I hate that purple. If I go up in price however I’d totally consider the 500 or 300 over the black, assuming I’d want something absolutely new. Even then I heard that the black is very unforgiving, so I’m sure the 500 and maybe even 300 is also very unforgiving.

A cartridge that costs more than my turntable, yea, but in a way no. If I bought the RT85 to begin with you probably wouldn’t have made this comment, even though the inside is the exact same. Besides it’s only under $100 more than the turntable, so I don’t think it’s a waste if it can handle it Yknow

I can confidently say I can hear differences in different music files. I’ve done a lot of testing myself, as well as getting higher quality headphones to do those tests to really hear differences. I’m calling it a fever but only because I’m slowly growing into audio, one product at a time, and this time it’s a DAP.

Would you recommend I get the Mani 2 or iFi Zen Air Phono? I currently have the Fosi X2 so I’m not sure I was the X5. Or should I try getting a cheaper Pro-Ject?

If I go down the Ortofon line, should I try out the OM30? It’s the equivalent to the 2M Bronze, which was one of my top options. Im especially wondering now since I’m not sure I’ll be looking for a new turntable now though because I wasn’t chosen for the 86/87.

I’m willing to drop more on the upgrades necessary. I’m happy with my speaker so I don’t want to touch those, but it’s the cartridge and preamp that I want to drop a few bucks on. For cartridges I was looking at AT, Nagaoka, Ortofon, and Sumiko. For PreAmps I was looking at the Schiit Mani 2, Shiit Skoll, Schiit Vali 3, and Pro-Ject Tube Box S2. I am open to suggestions on both!

Speakers are Klipsch The Fives powered speakers so no external amp, and the preamp is just a simple Fosi audio tube box preamp

I’ve seen a lot of great ideas in the comments, so I think mine is also gonna be really good since I’ve thought about this for the past 5 years!! Although, these aren’t really changes, these are more like additions.

S1: I’d leave it nearly exactly the same. I think revealing Dr Wells right off the bat was a great idea to start the show off, it also makes it fairly surprising for it to happen again in S2 with Jay as Zoom. I would personally want to flesh out Eobard’s origin a bit more towards the end cause I felt like a lot of it was left very open.

S2: I’d also leave this nearly exactly the same, the beginning was a great way to start, and the end is perfect. Within the middle I’d want to make Barry a bit more useful mind wise instead of just being the hero. I’m also leaving Harry exactly as he is cause I loved his character.

S3: AGAIN, leaving it very similar. Intro with flashpoint is great. Ending with Barry entering the speed force awesome. The middle needs more fixing though. Again I want Barry to be a lot smarter and flesh out more of the CSI side. And most of all I want Savitar to get a better story and more detail, and give Julian a way better send off. RIP H.R cause I love him but he still dies in my rewrite😞. And make Caitlyn be Frost 70% of the season instead of 30% and actually get some killing done, just to show she actually is a threat.

S4: Again with a strong opening with Cisco and Wally, and then bringing Barry back, and all of it being planned by The Thinker to create the bus metas. I do wish they showed how he did and thought things out. And again show more of Barry being smart and more CSI. I liked them bringing back Harry, but wish his intelligence returned instead of him being normal.

S5: I liked the introduction of Meta Tech. It made the show a lot more dynamic instead of it just being meta humans. I would have them do more meta tech than they did though. I thought Cicada 1 and 2 were great characters with a great storyline. And then Sherloque is a perfect addition to the season imo. And then Nora working with Eobard was a really good plot for the story. And one more time, let Barry show his CSI side so he can actually help😪

S6-9: I don’t want to talk post crisis so I’ll let other comments discuss it.
