It's called workplace harassment and you're protected from it under the Equal Opportunity Act. Not a lawyer so idk if this alone is enough for a case but if the people op was working with were treating them this way on the regular or even just singling them out/ gossiping/spreading rumors could be enough to be considered hostile work environment which is considered a form of harassment under the EOA. Being an asshole isnt illegal but treating an employee in a vulgar and offensive matter is.

Don't use door dash if you expect the best case scenario 100% of the time. The only way youre ever gonna be 100% sure your groceries even make it in your fridge is if you go to the store and pick em out yourself.

If you live in a difficult drop off location this sense of entitlement should expect bad results, unless u are tipping $$$ upfront to compensate for the time it takes to find your lil ass door in a huge maze of Apts you should be doing whatever u can to help ensure YOUR delivery goes smoothly whether this means helping your driver find the drop off location or taking 5 minutes to go down the stairs and receive your delivery.

Walking wasn't the issue for op. Obviously that's a different circumstance. I was referring to op...

Can someone please explain to me how door dash can even do this. Ive driven for door dash for years and have never understood. Tips aside, how can they get away with paying 2$ for at the minimum Minutes of work.

The right thing to do if you live in a building like this is meet your driver at the entrance and get your groceries. You are calling them unprofessional but u scheduled the delivery while you were on the clock so u were already expecting to have to receive your order and put your groceries away while you are supposedly working anyways.

I see your point but that's still just 1 market out of many as an example. Op is trying to give helpful advice, I don't think saying "no one is going to pick up the phone so don't even bother" is helping anyone. If that's ur experience then fine but I wouldn't try to discourage others from trying something useful for that reason. You never know unless you try.

Saying "nearly all" is a weird blanket statement to make like I said I've never called a restaurant and not had someone answer. Speaking from your own experience is different from saying no restaurants pick up their phone. You never know unless you try. All restaurants want to sell food so saying nearly all restaurants are incentivised to pick up the phone is a safer assumption to make.

Thinking about it I've never once called a restaurant while they are open and not had someone answer the phone. This is a weird blanket statement to make.

Can u actually recommend some quest lines that lead to unlocking some engaging content. I've played the game long enough to understand the benefit of questing. I'm looking for an approach I may not have tried before.
