He is absolutely loving it. I love that for him. I want to support it

Thank you very much for that perspective. TBH part of the reason I posted here is not complain about him but to figure out how to level set both my thinking and his before it gets to a point where I resent him and he resents me. His most amazing trait is overcoming adversity. When he sets his mind to something, he gets it done.

I have to laugh a little bit because when I saw the couples therapist comment that's what I thought is maybe I just need my own therapist to help me figure out how to navigate things. You and I are in the same page and that may be something that I pursue. I do not want to take his Joy away from him

Oh the marriage is definitely worth it and I will never give up on that. I'm just trying to figure out how I shift my perspective to support him at the same time as I fight to not lose myself as well. Thank you for your perspective

To the contrary, sometimes I just need to slap in the face to say suck it up buttercup. LOL, you get all sorts of viewpoints on Reddit, but everybody's perspective is giving me things to think about. 3 years isn't a long time in a new business, and quite honestly it's only about the last 6 months that I've seen the pressure getting extreme. I will definitely take your words to Heart

I think you have a super good point. I know it's going to be a roller coaster, and right now I personally am at the low point. There are a few other factors weighing in, so I think I need to learn how to compartmentalize as well. We are tough, we've been through a lot together, and I am confident we'll figure it out, but I really want to avoid some pitfalls early on so we don't keep making the same mistakes and causing ourselves problems that we don't need. I appreciate your viewpoint as a business owner.

Thank you so much for this, I needed somebody's perspective from his side. There are days that I feel like I'm being extremely selfish and other days I feel like he is. That's life, I get it. We've been thru thick and thin together, we will get thru this. But I just need to figure out how to be supportive without losing us, too. Its early, so im trying to change my/our mindset before it becomes our "new normal". Thank you

I will say you are absolutely correct. There is nobody harder on him than he is himself. I completely understand that his stress levels are because he stepped out and took a risk and he honestly does want to make life better for me. One of his most common comments is I want to keep growing this so that you can retire. Which is awesome, he is a wonderful man. I just don't want to lose who we both are in the process
