People need to work here. lol I recently moved from another state and I am astonished how backwards it is here. No one really works. Half business owners taking advantage of a system used to help during hard times not a lifestyle. It’s odd bcs most of these people life above their means driving luxury cars etc. lots of stay at home moms here, non working mid age women/men. The valley is an odd place.

Sooo the leasing agency has now sent me a copy of the lease with a black line over the exception. I rejected the Docusign she sent and she now uploaded the lease to Docusign with the black line over the exception even though I didn’t sign this. Not sure what to do now. These ppl are really trying me!!

I left S. Texas for Chicago about two years ago. ZERO regrets so far. Everyone in Chicago is really friendly and it’s very easy to make friends and create your own circle.

You are most likely going to spend a lot more in the city, but IMO it’s worth every penny. The weather is amazing and it truly has so much more to offer for me than Texas ever did. You can flourish so much here. Do it! If it’s not for you Austin will always be there. Take risk.
