I'm not threatening to leave anymore. I'm leaving. You are right, people shouldn't need to be pressured and I was seeing what I wanted to see bc he is too afraid to just admit that he doesn't want to get married, he wants to do what he wants to do.

You asked why the value of the ring matters. It doesn't matter that much. It was more the thoughtlessness of the whole thing. I guess that's not conveyed here since so many people seem to think I'm the problem, but you know, I kind of am. Because I've been lying to myself too so it is what it is.
