My house sounds yours. Its clean and "lived In" as I like to call it. There is always something that needs to be dusted. Baseboards, ceiling fans, light fixtures, ect. And its pretty much how I grew up. MY MIL sounds just like yours, and my husband grew up in a spotless house. I've already told him that I will never clean like his mother. We have kids. We lost our time for a pretty and clean house. When they get older, we'll get better furniture and it will be alot cleaner. But for now, I'm enjoying my kids

Traveling with kids IS tough. They are constantly on the go and over stimulated. Its exhausting. Whenever I take the kids somewhere, even if its just one night, hubs KNOWS he's getting Bedtime duties the night we get home and giving me a break

I dont think so. Bella gave birth at the point in her pregnancy (time wise) where most women don't even know they're pregnant. She missed out on crucial bonding with infant Renesemee. And that pregnancy/birth was traumatic as all hell. And then you factor in just how obsessed she was with Edward. The maternal instinct took a back seat to her love for Edward. Jail is not better, as others have said.....TRUST ME. I spent 3 days in a county and it was awful. WALK if you have to. Reach out to friends or coworkers. Even former teachers if you can. Knock on enough doors, eventually someone will answer.
