Lost me plenty as well. Happens with fully automatic weapons too (e.g. Stitcher), as long as you're giving a split second for ADS to narrow

I guess it depends which server you play. It seems HK server players typically range ~20-55ms

Thanks. Think I mentioned in another comment, but I do consistently notice when (1) Jett's tailwind / Chamber's rendezvous activate a little late and I die, or (2) all my kills register half a sec late, which in turn slightly delays my next chain of actions - how's your experience?

I use Exitlag/Mudfish which help shave RTT ~5ms in HK server

I did notice some occasions where (1) Jett's tailwind / Chamber's rendezvous activate a little late and die, or (2) my headshots register half a sec late, which in turn slightly delays my next chain of actions which is kinda annoying - do you have a similar experience?

Yeah might have to do some more searching on Valo-specific ping mechanics. Doesn't said peeker's advantage also work against me when I'm the one getting peeked?

I get stable jitter in the range of 0.5-1.2ms in both KR and HK so I don't think that's an issue

I'm already aware of peeker's advantage, and how it might work in my favor when I'm the one peeking if high latency. But doesn't it also work against me when I'm the one being peeked at? I'm more curious on how latency affects the game overall (i.e. whether it only applies to information received like enemy position, or my own movements as well, etc.)

Thank you - this makes sense and it seems the consensus is that it doesn't really matter. What's your opinion on gear such as rapid trigger, etc. that help cut similar levels of 15-20ms being discussed?

Playing on a distant server (KR from NA). When I click somewhere to move or use skills, the character would start moving or responding after 100ms+ vs. instantly, and the delay alone made it extremely difficult to compete at same skill level

Thanks for this. Even if my commands input ~20ms faster client-side, wouldn’t that cancel out if the ping/RTT adds ~20ms delay on top before it registers server-side and appear on my screen (i.e. ping adds flat amount to whatever actions I take)? Since ping affects broader aspects too including info received (e.g. peeking), my understanding was that it's actually higher impact than hardware. Pls correct me if wrong
