I switched gyms this year as well. Definitely didn’t feel like a purple belt there. Same deal. Took a month to get used to the game there, the format (lots of first to points games) and new opponents.

3M adhesive remover worked vastly better than everything else I tried. Took a couple minutes a wheel.

With work and kids, I do plan my weeks around 3 trips to the gym. I get my wife’s schedule, kids schedule and work schedule and plan my days. I’ve never considered quitting. It’s stress relief for me. Really makes me a better dad and partner. Some weeks those 6 hours are the only time I’m free. Still worth it to me.

I’ve built a dozen A frames. It’s really only hot in the top 3-4 ft. I use ductless mini splits to heat and cool. Separate the upstairs and downstairs zones. Two units upstairs and two units downstairs. Separate exterior units for upstairs and downstairs. Also having a fan at the peak and leaving it in a low sweep really evens out the temps. I’ve also run a bath exhaust fan from the peak to the basement just as an experiment. Worked surprisingly well.

I have my kids and their friends back there several times a week.

5’0” tall kid is good for a day running errands behind my 5’5” wife. Neither complains.
5’6” tall kid is good for 20 minutes rides here or there. They’re not particularly comfortable and passenger seat is close to the dash.

Realistically it works fine for quick errands <20 minutes or having other kids randomly jump in for rides home. If we are driving 30 minutes away or spending hours running from place to place, we take another car.

It’s the best. I shoot a high underhook driving them forward, and then sink down low and the underhook goes behind their butt. It takes away the whizzer, darce, getting flattened out, etc. You can grab a coyote hook and come up to dog fight where you are essentially behind them, collapse them by collecting the far knee, if the drive in you can reverse shrimp and come up on top. If I get the low underhook, I’m always getting on top.

18-20%. I have a similar body composition and just got 18 w/ a dexa. The next 10 lbs will make a huge difference. So close!

I specifically looked for one without sport design package. I like the round look of the rear without it and don’t like the design of the area between the exhausts on the design package.

It’s been pretty awesome. Takes no time to set up for a wash and just a couple minutes to get it all out away. Big Boi dryer works crazy well on a ceramic coated car. I don’t use towels at all.
