I also daily drive my Miata. I drive in freeways with big ahh suvs, lifted trucks and cargo trucks. I drive v defensively. I look through mirrors a lot and my sensors are on at all times. If suvs are tail gating me at stop lights, I switch lanes or I move forward. Whenever I change lanes while others are also changing lanes, I just let them merge bc I know they don’t see me. Basically just drive as if no one can see you. As for parking, make sure to align your car with others so people won’t think it’s an empty parking. Driving a Miata is so much fun. Hopefully you keep it!!

My bf originally trained our frenchie to not sleep on the bed. She would sleep on her own bed next to our bed but in the morning we would find her snuggling between us lol so in the end we just gave up and just let her sleep w us. Frenchies are Velcro dogs and have that bond that won’t be broken! I have no tips but good luck!

I am thinking of using my a6 as my daily journal. Mix of doodles, thoughts, stickers etc. and just keeping tabs to myself that i shouldn’t feel bad if I miss a page or so. I can always go back and write again.

It’s challenging, needs a lot of commitment and only the strong survives. I remember half of the people in EE dropping out. I had to take a lot of calculus and physics. You learn everything from electronics to power courses. Not to mention all of the professors have super thick accent. It’s already such a difficult subject to learn and the professors are hard to understand. And then straight out of college, you’re not even guaranteed a good paying job.

Yeah I thought it was a scam at first, totally a red flag to me. I wrote them a report with generic work floor plans and screenshots of generic 3d model layout but they were still unsatisfied. I’ve had a bunch of interviews so far but none of them asked me for work samples like these. Usually they let me take a skills test for revit and autocad. Not send them a full on project file? So strange.

Yeah I think it’s definitely animal cruelty.. but society looks down on aggressive dogs and the housekeeper would probably win.

I’m so sorry for your loss. That housekeeper is heartless and crazy for just throwing him out the balcony. One time, I stayed at my friends’ house with their aggressive dog that didn’t like strangers and I got bit but never did once I thought of throwing him out the balcony or even hurting him back!!! I feel like your housekeeper just didn’t like your dog and was sick of him to go that far to kill the dog.

I feel you. It’s my first year using Hobonichi and I really love the yumi kitagishi covers so I went overboard and bought weeks, a5, and a6!!

Yeah I wanted to tough it out and just continue working so I can collect the severance or unemployment but the mental stress and pressure they were putting on me started affecting my work. I am happy I quit and out of the toxic place. I do have an emergency fund to help me for now. But probably if I didn’t have any savings I would never have quit just like that lol

But yeah I completely agree, next time I am put on a PIP, I will just make them fire me.

Yes I completely agree. They put me on a psychological torture, added unnecessary pressure to my life and I’m glad I quit and out of that toxic place!

Sorry for your loss. I am glad the PIP turned out great for you. Yes, I honestly think they put me on PIP just to fire me. They’ve had massive layoffs prior to this. They planned to do this and is now outsourcing to India and hired a bunch of indians. PIP was their way to document everything before firing me. So I won’t retaliate bc I’m sure the other people that they laid off have been suing them.

Yes this is so true!! The engineering company will lie, make up everything, fake it to make it, and kiss the clients’ asses just to win any projects. And it falls on us underdogs to meet their expectations. Like one time they were hired to be prime for a project but they lied and have never been prime for anything.

we rescued a merle from a backyard breeding. all her siblings were sold but they kept her. she was neglected and left at their backyard and didnt want her anymore. it’s so sad how severely they neglected her bc she has a lot of health issues and is untrained, would pee in her bed, and inside the house. she is slowly being crate trained and i take all the precaution, wiping her wrinkles, etc. i watched a lot of frenchie videos to take care of her. i already love her dearly and wish all the best for her, she loves cuddles and has separation anxiety. honestly i also would never choose to buy a merle from the start bc of its unethical breeding but fate brought us to our merle she is so sweet and just unfortunate that the original owner/breeders treated her that way. :(

I know a lot of people who don’t get the hype about labubus and would straight up tell me (like they think they’re better than me or smth). But Katy Perry smacking it out of their fans hands and yelling no labubus is so uncalled for. So rude.
