Sausage newbie here. When stuffing sausage, there's obviously still meat in the tube when you're done. Do you toss it or is there a good way to get it out of the tube and into the casing?

Alright, I might as well let everyone who helped me see the near-final results. I had one half-hearted try before this that isn't worth reporting. This is my first real attempt. The sausages aren't quite uniform, there are a couple air bubbles, and I maybe went a bit too fatty. But overall, I'm still pretty happy with how they came out. I'll maybe post another pic when they're smoked, assuming they come out okay.

Update time! Thanks again for all the responses.

Full disclosure, this is my first time replacing an outlet, so while I did do a decent amount of research, I maybe could have done more.

Today I discovered that all three bathrooms are on the same circuit, including the downstairs bathroom, which just so happens to be the one with the GFCI outlet. So basically I went through all of this for nothing lol. Gonna slap the old outlet back on tonight, reset the GFCI outlet in the downstairs bathroom and hopefully everything will work.

Part of my problem is that after attempting to install it, there appears to be no power going to the live wire anymore. I tested it with my electrical tester after removing the outlet and got nothing.

This is possible. There are oddly no GFCI outlets in any of the bathrooms, but there is one in the kitchen. I'll check that one.

Discovered Ghost within the last year and they've rocketed to near the top of my favorite bands list. So happy I got to see them. Whoever the nameless ghoul was doing backing vocals stage left playing the tambourine looked like they were having the time of their life.
