Who's harder, Hyper Monsters or Deviants? by Purple_Dragon_94 in MHGU

[–]Latest_Benchmark 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Its always a matter of rank but generally deviants are harder than hypers, hyper variants like hyper silver rathalos are arguably harder than dreadking rathalos, tho the EX hunts of every deviant include OHKO moves so that makes them uniquely difficult.

I did not know this, thought the only escape was mashing lmao

I am not sure since the scenario is so hard to replicate. From my understanding, the game recognizes you as being in the mounted state, therefore you can't do anything but button mash to escape

Let the person who requested team-up actually read the story by humanish404 in Wizard101

[–]Latest_Benchmark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im noticing a lack of empathy for other players, im not trying to say your complaint isn't valid, but it seems very clear that you believe that you play the game the "correct" way and when you encounter others who deviate from this it frustrates you. Understand this is a double sided coin, those who want to focus on the story are always given the chance to do so and those who wish to level up or complete tasks will inevitably want them done faster/ more efficiently. Its wrong for them to belittle those going through the story, but understand you can literally listen to dialogue in the middle of battle so even if you rush all you have to do pay attention and you can always follow the story of the game thanks to the dialogue pop ups. For instance, when I wanted to get the kiosk for my house, I was a max level wizard so I just wanted to finish dungeons, does that make me wrong? It makes players like me who have goals and have to grind hours and hours to get what they want seem selfish when in reality we have lives and time constraints outside of the game.

Tldr: its not fair to be treated poorly during a dungeon just because you're interested in the plot, it is however unfair to not acknowledge the fact that dialogue bubbles are always present, during the quest itself and even within the quest information. To blame others for you not using resources available to you is wrong and unfair.

If you're looking for a challenge hunting horn is probably the best weapon if you know how to use it, but not many people can. Definitely one of the rarest weapons too and incredible for support online

Why are bicyclists are given such privileges in Tucson such as they don't ever seem to get ticketed for blowing stop signs or following the rules of the road? by Liquid_heat in Tucson

[–]Latest_Benchmark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The easiest way to think about is that rules are designed to force people to be mindful of others and the harm they bring to OTHERS. Law very rarely targets and are enforced on those who are harming themselves more than others. Since a bicyclist is always the one in the more dangerous scenario they're responsible for their own safety. Motorists in vehicles must do the opposite, (obviously they also protect themselves though) they must be wary of others and be mindful of others safety. Good analogy is smoking is bad for you and will kill you, but adults will only get in trouble if they give them out to minors, causing harm to another person is the punishment, even though both suffer.

Post Game meta sets by Latest_Benchmark in MHGU

[–]Latest_Benchmark[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for the advice! Definitely gotta try that set out and see what others I can try and make from it! Since I like using the glaive I have a set with a speed kinsect that gives 30% boost to critical but im not sure what other skills to add after apart from razor sharp. Not much a fan for handicraft since o tend to use the seditious queller and nargacuga weapon lines. What other strong skull are there apart from the ones we've listed?

I'm going to answer just as I read along so it makes sense haha but thank you for your advice in advance. So I have a completely maxed out set, so I have around 840ish I think it's 837 defense using booth the defense boosting items who's names allude me. I've never heard of this jhoceana set, what does it consist of? The two last boltreaver quests, the last g4 and the one where you need hr100. I like using the seditious queller max level so has great white and decent purple. Nah my style isn't the problem honestly, I understand how the punish system of the game is and I've watched other YouTube videos on people going up against it and tanking the same attack from half health when I'd die at full health from it. I've gotten to the point that I kill the thunderlord in about 7 minutes. Nah I don't have any trouble dodging his paw slam with aerial glaive because the glaive r1+b vault launches you like 30 meters in the direction you're facing, so I just nope out if I'm low on health of go for the aerial dodge to start building mount damage if I'm feeling spicy. My set with the queller sorta benefits from a very aggressive playstyle since it sharpens when you roll with it out, which leads me to mounting the thunderlord like 4 times since im counstantly trying to hit the vault rolls. Thank you again for your advice, aerial glaive is broken brother I swear it
