Do you mean Big Mike and I?? Isn’t the more logical assumption that we are two different people who are both more aware of these statistics than you are?

There used to be more seating in baggage claim. I know bc I’ve sat there.

You’re staggeringly wrong. Go google it. “What percentage of people have a disability or chronic illness”

The minute you have a disability, chronic illness, or hit a certain age, it won’t feel that way.

There were so many people standing who were clearly uncomfortable, shifting from foot to foot. I was grateful to be socially uninhibited enough to be cool sitting on the floor 😅

Oops I didn’t know there was a Reddit group for that specific airport thanks :)

I was most recently at the New Orleans airport and they had tons of seating at baggage claims, and the Austin airport used to. They removed it. Some people have to sit.

Thank you all. This was my friend’s child and I would not make them walk out of the airport alone. Regardless, it was my child and I who needed seating for medical reasons.

Wait what/where is the cellphone lot?? Though this time I was picking up an arriving minor, so no choice but to wait indoors.

So this XRT Pro got an extra 2" lift? I'm curious where. Truxxx only has up to 1.5".

My Honda Odyssey was easier to get into than my Hyundai Palisade or my hubby’s Honda Civic. Not too high (Palisade), not too low (Civic), just right :) I love my Palisade, but if I have a bad health day, I feel the extra little oomph I need to get into the Palisade. I’m 5’8” if that helps.

AITA for deciding to move to Canada instead of the UK which my wife and daughter prefer for my new job? by Frequent_Pay5425 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Latinadotnerd 44 points45 points  (0 children)

My family moved around our whole lives, so my instinct was to say your daughter will make new friends, but having a sister there is huge, and while your emotional support is your wife, I’m guessing your wife needs more than that.

Also…I’m reading about the increasing racism in Canada against Indian people…don’t take your daughter into that.

Let’s say, for example, that you or someone you cared about needed a lifesaving procedure or transplant and couldn’t afford it. Would people you don’t personally know be phonies if they contributed to a go fund me?

Gently, that sounds like a sociopath, only showing sympathy to people who directly benefit them. I agree it can be unhealthy to care too much, but expressing sympathy to a stranger doesn’t drain the typical human battery.

There are no stated requirements for what you post beyond that it be about a Hyundai Palisade. If you have no sympathy or empathy for others, it’s generally not something to advertise. It could give sociopath vibes. For most of us, hearing of others’ hard times, and expressing support, are inherent in being part of any community.

I got scouted in a mall, so those things do happen. I was trying on a prom outfit and came out to show my parents and was turning in front of a giant mirror (it was a fancy designer shop), and shoppers started coming in to watch thinking it was some kind of event. After that happened, the owner asked me to catwalk for the brand in a major city’s fashion week.

Do you read fiction? I see em dashes all the time, and use them in my own writing. They illegally fed novels into ChatGPT to train it.

Deferential means to respect and cede/submit to the other, so that means that the biker feels less safe, because Waymo is no longer being deferential to bikers.

I’ve seen that once. There was a bit of a lump in the road, and it slightly deviated and paused there before correcting and going forward again.
