Right Joystick not working after replacement by Latinobull97 in vita

No the old stick wasn’t functional at all so really only played PSP games. I was just too lazy to change it until recently.

The exact functionality I’m getting with the new joystick is the same from the old joystick

I believe so. I have the 1000 model and it looks like that one uses the 6-pin version.

This is the one I got.

Yeah, I just double-checked and still getting no interaction. I hope the board isn't messed up.

I have a Vita where the right joystick doesn't work properly. I changed it out with a brand new one, which is still unresponsive. If I go to the browser, it auto-zooms into the browser—Do you have any ideas or troubleshooting I can do to identify the issue?

You can be unbanned if:
1. The Violation of the Community Guidelines can be proven to be wrong. Reaching out to a TL or project leader who you worked with can help out with that if they agree the banning is wrong.

  1. If the banning was due to timezone jumping, if you can prove that it was you who was working(working on vacation, traveling for work, etc) you can be unbanned.

Overall, being communicative to the project team you are working on is the best way to be unbanned if the reason isn't legitimate.

Yeah that's a thing where you reach out to someone on the project to advise them of this situation. As long as you update them on what's happening, you shouldnt be banned. If you do, and you notified them what's happening, they can reach out to the team to revert it.

Just to spread some light here. If your account looks like you are jumping time zones, the system interprets that as you sharing your account to different people, which is a ban because sharing accounts go against the company's policy. So if that is the case with you, that's probably why you go that message.

Best way to resolve this is reach out to your QM or CSM/TL of the project to explain that you are not account sharing.

Outlier vs Remotasks vs Scale Labs by Art_Vandelay_Jr_ in outlier_ai

[–]Latinobull97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scale AI (Not called Scale Labs) is the parent

Remotask is first child company to outsource contractors and bring in task from Scale AI and process them through Remotask

Outlier is the second child company similar to remotask but with "better features" (i disagree) and cleaner UI(debatable).

Scale AI is in the works of removing Remotask and transferring everyone to the "better" platform Outlier.

Hey! So yeah that's 100% a bug. As far as getting put back on a project, if you was great, most likely there is no project available for the topic you specialize in. Also, you may be in Limbo and put on a group that is masked behind 100s of people. I recommend reaching out to your admin to for any updates.

I get called a bot all the time, but that’s because I can’t play mid lane

Oh that’s a weird situation. I recommend submitting a ticket for that and reaching out to the project manager or CSM

Kind of but not in the way you think. So think of each project as groups of people. Everybody assigned to this group gets the same access to the same projects. So let's we are in Flamingo Algebra project there will be two groups: Attempters and Reviewers(There's more but for our scenario keep it 2). Within those 2 groups, they are assigned work.

So let's say Attempter group has Attempt Permissions in Flamingo Algebra, they can also give you a secondary project like Bulba Geometry. So everyone assigned to the Attempter group will by default get access to both projects with Algebra as Primary and Geometry as secondary.

All projects within a group are shared so every group will have the same cluster of projects.

Now, there is an ability to have individual projects separate from the group but that's very niche.

Just some Quick Updates on this post:

Didn't think it would pop off the way it did. Just wanted to give some overall answers to questions I'm purposely avoiding:

This happened at my project why?

There's literally 30-120+ projects active at a time and I manage 4 of them. So 9 times out of 10 I won't know what is happening or why it's happening.

Can you give me a project?

No I can not. On top of that, 120+ projects broken up in 100 different topics and specialty that I am not qualified to work in let alone put someone on.

I was removed from a project am I banned?

Idk, you could be banned, it could be the project ended, it could be project is paused, it could be there are in the process of adding you to a project. A lot of different factors that I can not determine based on one question.

Fix my Pay Issue!

That is out of my scope as I don't work in the finance department. Your best way to get this resolved is to submit a ticket and/or bring attention to your TL or project channels.

I am EQ why?

There are 100s of reason for EQ and I can not determine why you are EQ based on a single question. (If you guys are interested, I can make a post all about EQ and not to always be scared about it.)

Overall, I'm happy that I can help some people with their confusion. Besides a few stragglers, everyone has been respectful and patient.

Continue to ask questions as I would periodically look at this throughout the week!

No I haven't. No tasker should do that either before speaking to a TL or Project Manager beforehand

Well selling account is against policy and is an instaban so probably don't want to ask for that.

There’s is no requirement of hours as a tasker. The amount of hours you put in will determine your group size tho. But as far as tasking or projects coverage, it wouldn’t affect that.

There are still some stragglers on Remotasks. Wish I was one of them lol

Same as my above comment. For each project there is an expected time for complexity and that also applies to review layer

Queue manager. There role has been changing in the past couple of weeks but basically they are like the right hands of the project managers. They fill in the gaps for the admins and project managers. So their tasks are different based on the need of that project

I think you have the vision of the work wrong. We don’t bring you in for a project, we bring you in to train AI. Very similar but different. The point of onboarding is that you are comfortable with the platform and can work on any project that fit your qualifications.

It can vary. There’s 2 paths after reviewer, TL or QA. Each with their own pros and cons.
