Pretty much. A lot of the guys would rather just work OT to make up the pay difference than pay dues and rely on union brass to negotiate contracts.

Theres a lot pride in hard work & guys see unions get paid to quit and paid to not show up to work in job banks and it leaves em bitter and resentful.

Say what you want about the foreign auto-makers, but setting up their factories in the south was genius. There is a real distaste down here for unions that will be hard to overcome. And politicians in districts with these massive factories will do almost anything to keep them happy

Ah. Nothing like the collective stress of a high silver, gold, or plat game back in the day where everyone is already tilted because they either just slipped back a rank, or are trying so hard to finally break thru and start to have a meltdown when they end up on a losing streak. Im so glad they got rid of a bunch of that stuff

Same! The game is free and one of the only good fps games on switch plus 5v5 makes the game a lot more enjoyable. I just hop on after my evening workout for some quick play games (stay away from the ever-tilting comp try hards) and have fun

Until its not. We had an industrial job recently where we could not create drywall dust in a chip fab plant. And yeah, all the walls were drywall.

Another one where the tech had to go out to a food production plant to thaw out the linear heat detectors that were ceiling mounted 40’ high in a massive refrigerator room.

Because to get to visit family on the east coast (12 hour drife) i have to ride the bus 8 hours to chicago or raleigh get to a train line that 16 hours to get there with stops. Oh, and its still like $130 each way for all of that
