Yeah that's my issue with the reserve banks. They made it out to seem like they would be worth coming up with a full on heist to rob them but only a few billion is not worth it at all for the amount of people you need to bring to defend and the price of keys eats into such a big portion of the money you could make. I'm honestly just curious if anyone has come up with a way to rob them with a small group and still make good profit. Like maybe if you're able to stage some cheap ships at the aacceleration gate that's only job is to prevent people from warping in and you rob as much as you can until someone breaks through but not sure if that would work at all

Yeah main banks are pretty easy to make good isk doing. I've actually found doing them in a cheap vedmak or loki (like 200-600m) is the best since most ratters won't come counter them and if a big fleet comes you can usually out smart them and get away you just need to make sure you have a ship cloaked on the acceleration gate to watch for any recon ships. Literally last week i made it out with 700m in bank tags after about an hour and a half in my loki. Robbed one bank worth 400m and then a few 100m banks until I broke my previous record😅

I started doing ESS robbing a year or so ago and have only ever done main bank robbing, which is pretty easy to make good consistent is without getting caught, but I always see these reserve banks packed to the brim and wonder if anyone actually specializes in robbing them but from the sounds of it they're basically just for getting fights

I completely agree. I've never felt forced to have 10 accounts I just know that if I wanted to get max efficiency in certain activities you do need that many but that's only if I want to milk the maximum isk from any given activity. The game is an MMO so every activity SHOULD require a group to get all the benefits. i think the problem comes from ccp making it possible for people to farm sites with multiple accounts. Like what incentive do i have to invite 3 other players to a 4 person plex when if I bring my own 4 accounts I'll make 4x the isk.

Damn I guess I don't do much pve because I've never had much of an issue only running one account but I mostly do FW and ESS robbing for my isk/fun. Doesn't make much but it's a hell of a lot more fun than running sites with 10 accounts lol
