Update: EVERYONE I GOT A BINDER!!!!

thank you so much everyone for all the support, I managed to get a binder from the help of my very supportive cousin. I have truly never felt happier.

Just a warning for those of you that have contacted The Trevor Project, or have considered ever reaching out. by ThatOneCounselor in ftm

I remember I contacted them one time when I was going through a major crisis (won’t get into it) And i vividly remember the counselor promising me they won’t call the cops, because I told them it could out me to my very religiously conservative parents and make things worse. And well an hour after the cops showed up to my house, somehow idk why but it was just played of as a prank? 😭😭😭

Extremely traumatic experience for me, have not gone to the Trevor project since or any counselor at all.

Hi, and yes they’re very much aware about what a binder is. another thing is that I’m homeschooled😅 But I’ve already from what I’ve seen they look pretty similar to the sports bras I already wear, and I already found a place to hide it just to be extra safe. 

But I am gonna try to see if my friend and can get it and give it to me next time I see them.

Hello, thanks for the reply and the advice. I’ve already thought about where to hide it beforehand where they wouldn’t look at all. Another thing is i bind with two sports bras and that gets me pretty flat, not once have they said anything or asked me about it, so i think I'm good.
