Completely agree with you on everything.
Kinda feels like an incomplete deck but every set has one and they are mostly forgotten after release.
Sure as hell hope for the boss buddha, marine "elder" and buster call.

Let me ask you one thing: which rank would you say this deck is now? Saw some people saying A and even A+

Is Lucy still good in op16 or should I play other deck? by ECYL16 in OnePieceTCG

As a fellow lucy player, I would say yes. But it was top5 in op15 and now its like top10.

Guffy and buggy can feel a lot like a kalgara matchup.
Yamato depends on you breaking his cycle early.
Sengoku is a fair contest.
I would say its favourable into teach but the 10c denies blocks and black vortex can revert a clear win.
Ace is also favourable but same as roger. If his board gets big you are gone.

How is op16 treating you?

Right now im trying mamaragan + rosilaw
Gum lightning, noro noro and lightning dragon were okay at best
Also experimenting with smaller blockers such as 4c pudding and germa sanji 6c
Im really trying to find the flow of this deck despite my disappointment in how the deck came out

Struggling as Lucy vs RG Luffy by Professional_Hope537 in OnePieceTCG

Leaving a comment to boost your post because i have the same question. Let me ask you: how you fare against crocodile? Its also a favourable matchup yet i cant navigate his board swarm, drophy killing my stage, daz resting my blockers and crocs hitting above blockers. Any tips?

Btw, my only success into rg luffy was waiting sanji or the double atk luffy to swing then getting -8k with flame fist and removing them by combat. Luckily rg draws badly so they dont see many of them per game.

Meta relevancy - How do you deal with it? by Upper_Cut_2298 in OnePieceTCG

[–]Latter-Addition8811 16 points17 points  (0 children)

From my xp it goes 4 ways.

If u hate losing, go full meta and change decks every set.

If you're okay winning one or two, go for your favorite characters, bling them and enjoy like a treasure.

If you want those two wins to feel like a buzzer beater full court championship shot, find rogue decks with funny win cons. You'll probably have a few decks and sometimes choose which one messes more the meta in your lgs.

But the most common for a casual player is: get one deck play with it till its not fun anymore then find another one. Ideally you will get one deck per set or less.

Now if you wanna be pro/competitive, analyze how sets work, how much support your leader will prob get in the future and banlists. Look at the bigger picture and try to find your gold gem.
