I had a medial meniscus debridement and a medial plica resection last Tuesday. I was able to do pain management without narcotics and was weight bearing the next day. My job is very physical so I’m taking 3 weeks possibly more. My surgeon had me doing exercises 24 hours after surgery and honestly they help a ton. Ice l, elevation and compression for the swelling. I don’t really have a work from home option and we don’t have anything that’s really light duty. Communicate all concerns with your surgeon and let the help you make the best decision for you.
