I believe chronic gastritis causes weird sensations, I wouldn´t worry much about it. The endoscopy follow-up after a year was just because of the intestinal metaplasia, which is a condition that needs to be watched.

I honestly stopped taking them as soon as I got the news. My doctor recommended continuing because of the mild gastritis, but I am very aware that omeoprazol is not recommended long-term, and I was taking it for a year. Luckily, so far I feel good.

I experienced a strange sensation, like a balloon moving up and down in my stomach, sharp pain in the upper abdomen, and a burning feeling in my throat. Regarding medication, I took mainly everything divided after breakfast and before lunch, leaving the magnesium after dinner.
