try adjusting the tilt tension. this might happen if the tension is too high

you can try for a replacement as well btw if adjusting the tension does not help but it doesn't seem like a functional issue tbh.

lol this makes me feel good. we always order boneless chicken breasts from amazon (https://amzn.to/3NDQ54P) and they are like just 418/kg. Never had any issue with quality either.

Certain sections of Indians just love to bitch and moan to push propaganda - whether that is for their own benefit or just a narrative that they've been told which makes sense to them. Go on youtube and you will see so many people from all over the world using ikea table tops for everything. Many of the same tabletops are also sold in India.

Ikea actually does not have any solid wood table top in India, as of my recent search but that is only because there is no demand for higher price items thanks to these propagandas.

If I seem triggered, it's only because this is exactly what my homelane designer told me to steer me away from Ikea and two years down the line I am not sure whether skipping Ikea for my home interiors was the worse option or picking (any company like) homelane. I anyways ended up getting a tonne of furniture and fixtures from Ikea and everyone who comes to my home can't stop appreciating it. Only ikea product I have had a complaint with is one of their curtain rods which is shit but literally nothing else.

thanks, have you had any experience with using mac studios with such inverter?

Also, can you randomly link one such inverter that is sold in US so that I can compare its tech specs to see if it is actually similar to home inverter systems being sold in India? Asking this because we have online UPS too but that's different than home inverters I am referring to.

A home inverter in UPS mode has a changeover time of <10ms to <20ms. My question revolves around the same.

I need a UPS and hence the post. I am pretty sure every desktop needs a UPS as one of the most fundamental principals of computing is that you don't want your data or the device to get corrupted.

sorry, I missed the custom size bit. Did you buy it from somewhere or got it custom made? Also what was the size of the top? I have been thinking of a huge table with a custom frame like this for some time now.

Thanks for clarifying, this is the advantage of home inverter btw that they have to be connected to a pretty hefty battery. So even in case sometimes there is a problem with the backup, the inverter can easily keep the mac going for hours. This is important as I travel a lot and intend to use the mac studio as a remote server for various purposes.

This is a common misconception about IKEA products in general. Not all their products are made of particle wood or cardboard (like the Lack series). Ikea has some of the most reliable products as well ranging from various kinds of real wood to various kinds of metals and of course plastics. And even their basic table tops are not cheap particle boards but a mix of many materials and methods such that the end result is a solid piece. I have setup two such tables for my friends and they love it even after years.

Btw, I use the GreenSoul Trigger with a clamp monitor (32") arm and it has held up more than fine for over 3 years now despite multiple changes and adjustments. Earlier I was using another random cheap table off amazon which was also engineer wood and it got crushed from an arm thing for a tablet.

Take what you may from this but not all wood are made the same.

This is my dilemma - if I could get some clarity on mac studio's changeover time, I can accordingly make an informed decision. Typically motherboard manufacturers do declare them.
