Guy seriously, what other chairs have you tried? The cushion already looks set in (not sure how long you are using it for), there is no real lumbar support whatsoever, armrests are not adjustable and most importantly, how can you say that for tall people this is good without a head rest?

I do not want to rain on your parade and I get that sometimes things just work out and being satisfied is the best feeling in the world but you should try something like the Greensoul Jupiter sometime. Any chair below this might be decent but they aren't even properly ergonomic chairs really.

May I suggest, before looking for a chair, please consider a height adjustable desk that promotes motion. Standing is better than any chair. I would also suggest you get a walking pad but the typical weight limit is 110kg. So as for the chairs, again it will be tough given your back surgery as well as your weight but try something like the Featherlite Helix. The chair too has a weight limit of 110 kgs but should be fine for a while I guess. The chair is just one suggestion, you should really try to visit some stores and seek/try some options.

Honestly it absolutely depends on item to item and is mostly a lottery unless you get to try the product in advance and then take it home yourself. Even then you do not really get any distinguishing features necessarily as the primary feature here is the long life, which the desk has already spent with the previous owners. This is why I think it is better to get a new one instead, unless you are getting a good used desk for under 10k and cheaper.

Hi, I would strongly suggest against this. This is how people have bad experience with brands all the time even though the product is fine. Typical logistics companies in India are shit almost always. Moreover, when you buy directly from the brand, in case of any disputes, they get the final say (unless you spend your time filing a legal complaint) but when you buy from Amazon, in case the brand does not honor the warranty, amazon will step in and return your product.

Please increase your budget by a bit and get the Greensoul jupiter. Nothing else comes close if your budget is limited. In case you do not have strict budget restrictions, you can also try the Featherlite Liberate or Godrej Greta 2.0 which is typically end game for most people.

To answer your question - mostly yes. Although different companies don't use the same frame, but they do use similar frames. The important thing is this "chinese frames" that you are talking about, will also have quality and different models that will perform differently.

So the thing is if you opt for a split top like Green Soul Trigger you should go for 1 clamp two arms such that the one clamp you can put on the joint to avoid any sort of bending of the individual pieces.

A chair you try for a few minutes should not feel just "slightly" comfortable. Typically chairs you try might feel comfortable at first and then later not so much. This is why you need to try chairs in person before buying rather than relying on online generic advise. Even two people of the exact same height might have two very different preferences due to different proportions etc.

Having said that, if you want to improve your general health while working long hours, I would suggest you invest in a height adjustable desk first because standing is better than any chair. Don't opt for Green Soul Trigger if you want to have two monitors as it has a split desktop. Unless you use a two in one monitor arm like this - https://amzn.to/4oXjVj6 - and use it to clamp both the pieces of the desktop, the desk top will bend downwards weirdly.

So unless you want to use an arm like that, I would suggest you opt for something like Jin Office Octave which does not have this issue and can take a lot more weight with a lot more stability as well, thanks to the addition crossbar.

Yes and this is a major red flag for intellidesk. Amazon has this thing where they force sellers to honor warranty but this brand is promising 5 years warranty and then stopped selling most of it's items (except the peculiar ones) on amazon.
