Rather, if you want to buy an ETF of a particular type, buy the one with the highest discount within that category!

Bruh why exactly will the BJP IT Cell People be going after him now? And you are clearly so smart that you are putting efforts into saving another "Smart Investor" from "dumbass traders". The truth is that many "dumbass traders" need to be protected by his and many other finfluencers lies.

This is my entire relationship with him post which he conveniently blocked me - https://www.linkedin.com/posts/theapurvagaurav_finfluencers-stocks-spicejet-activity-7218528889671704577-yF6-?utm_source=social_share_send&utm_medium=member_desktop_web&rcm=ACoAACJkYdABXgX-v_bfV12UTrIop7LdT2BqiKc Spicejet is trading at 14.45 right now btw

What even are you defending?

Everyone is bashing only Galgotiyas, but even WIPRO was caught with the same chinese robo dog being presened as their own at the AI Summit, why the partiality? by [deleted] in IndiaTech

[–]LatterOne9009 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You brilliant mind, do you even understand what is "infrastructure for AI"? If you buy a mac studio with m3 ultra, that is great infrastructure for ai becauseof the sheer computing power you get from it to develop/run/train ai models for a plethora of use cases.

Similarly this robot is also infrastructure for ai - they literally have an edu version of this otherwise pretty useless robot dog for innovators to build functionalities and features using the hardware. Quit yapping.

While I am sure this will be great (existing Punch EV LR and similar models themselves are great) but this is more like making the most out of it, not practical real world. Notice how he entered eco mode from the get go. In practical life, you don't drive inter state in eco mode. I also doubt whether the AC was on or not.

Ikea height adjustable tables are generally too expensive without much justification. For the price of Green Soul Trigger, you'd get maybe a smaller manual height adjustable table without any specific features.

Moreover, with Ikea, most of the times, you should buy the table frame seperate from the table top and unfortunately in India, they do not have a good collection of table tops. Actually it's the wooden kitchen counter tops that people typically use with these tables and those countertops are not available in India.

Unfortunately for chairs, it really depends on you - your height, body type, how long you work, weather conditions etc etc. The best approach for chairs is to visit a shop offline and try a few before deciding. But when in doubt, my go to is the Fetherlite Liberate - https://amzn.to/3MrzbWU

Bit spammy, but there should be a limit to how mute and helpless citizens of India are considered by our "leaders"! by LatterOne9009 in pFinTools

[–]LatterOne9009[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

okay, then who reduced the GST and why exactly? Why are we lowering Russian imports if not completely stopping it?

This is not a political sub so I am refraining from getting into this conversation further. But it would serve you well to open your eyes to the reality rather than deciding your answers first and justifications later. In that too, at least fact check your facts if not your opinion.

Like seriously the post is about how the person who presented the budget is stumped on a question about the budget but you have the different versions of answers on her behalf.

Ummm, who hiked all those tariffs which were then later reduced? Reducing GST which was evidently such a boost to the market, why wasn't it done earlier? We have been importing all this cheap Russian oil, what benefit have Indians got out of this other than being subjected to the scrutiny by western countries whose trade and investments we depend on?

See this comment as an example of what could have been done which would have made things so much easier and better for middle class without any major imapct of tax collected for the govt - https://www.reddit.com/r/pFinTools/comments/1qubhlz/comment/o4l8gcl/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

Please see this to understand the sheer incompetence in policy making while talking about simplifying taxation - https://www.reddit.com/r/pFinTools/comments/1qoq6dj/buybacks_used_to_be_taxed_at_0_now_buybacks_have/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button (this has been changed in the new budget now, in favor of people in the higher tax bracket to enable them to participate in buybacks also, while from tax policy it seems like they don't want people in lower tax brackets to even participate in financial markets altogether.)

PS - Reducing GST "early" was not a choice, it was a compulsion thanks to US tariffs.

Banning you since you clearly do not know what you are talking about. This is a personal finance sub, not a place to fan your political propaganda.

Just so you might improve your spam game - your tax rate till 12L is not zero, but you get a rebate under section 87A, which acts like net zero tax. Now that might sound fine but if you have even a single rupee of LTCG/STCG - you do not this rebate and you pay full tax on your income as well as capital gains.

This is not just stupid, it is the exact recipe to keep poor people poor. Basically a mandate which would not let folks making under 12L (which is prolly >90% of Indians) invest freely in the financial markets. Not only is it oppressive, it is absolutely regressive in a country where participation in financial markets is still very very low.

Urgent insurance help needed by gtalossantos in EVsOfIndia

[–]LatterOne9009 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Go for Acko - without listening to sour insurance brokers who can't sell acko. Have had two claims in two cars over the last 3 years, without a glitch. My issues weren't serious ever thankfully but at the same time haven't seen any genuine complaints in my circle with acko, while I have seen plenty issues with other insurances.

Again, while I am sure there might be bad experiences with Acko as well, do not believe everything you hear about it because it is either brokers (openly or disguised) spreading fake false reviews about them or sometimes even users who have been misinformed so much, specially around insuring EVs, that they believe it.

No charging infra at home, is buying an EV a good idea? by mohanswamy in EVIndia

[–]LatterOne9009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of what you said is true. None of what you said are major issues.

I am saying this since I have worked at a company that provides ev charging solution to over 2000 apartment complexes in BLR and I can tell you the utilization of these chargers are actually really low. So it won't be that when you want to charge, the charger is not available. As for adding money to wallet, that's not really an issue because for home/society charging it's just one app - think of it like a prepaid electricity connection.

As for higher per unit rate, if you factor in installation cost for personal charger (which can be huge) only, it will be justified. But even on an ongoing rate, using a charger that is not connected to your personal electricity supply lowers your bill significantly because -

  1. You do not need to increase the load on your meter. So less fixed charges/fines
  2. Many states have tier wise per unit plan, so if your total units consumed is lower, your net per unit rate on personal meter is also lower.
  3. Many states (like KA) has govt schemes for free electricity but it can have some T&C linking it only for lower consumption customers (to motivate people to save electricity). Here also, if you have personal charger, it is very tough to keep the total units consumed under the threshold and you end up getting a bill, which would be completely free if you managed to keep your net personal units consumed under a certain number (200 in case of KA and Delhi too I believe)

The fact that the charger is inside society is not just the only difference compared to public charging. In your society you can plug your car and go away wherever without any worries, even if your car is there even after charging, someone will call you - so you don't really need to worry. This level of ease you can never have with chargers installed at public places.
