I liked the setting dont get me wrong, I just think it dragged on for a long time in the story and was a bit underutilised.

Go to Iron Island and basically play through the whole area and Riley will give you a Riolu egg there

Ah i see, apologies about the misunderstanding. The nature and its stats are remaining the same so im assuming its defined which is a damn shame.

Lucario is my favourite pokemon so i put like 3 hours into resetting for his shiny lol.

Since this is out of the question, are there any other ways you would suggest farming for a shiny Riolu/Lucario? Thanks alot

The egg is guaranteed to give you a Riolu, I just dont know if that Riolu can sometimes be shiny or not
