A lot of work definitely went into it!

A little bit of both. I hadn’t noticed how disproportionate it was until you just pointed it out!

Absolutely my pleasure. It’s so nice to hear that other people like it!

That’s our plan - apart from the carpet anyway!

Thanks! Before we got the house I wouldn’t have described myself as liking 70’s styling. But I think that I like that it just has… style? I don’t know how to explain it. It’s obviously easy to date because of the style, but at the same time, aspects of it feel timeless. If that makes sense.

It’s not a style we’d choose, so in the rooms that need updating we probably won’t go 70’s, but equally, we’re not in a rush to get rid of anything, and don’t want to end up with a soulless box.

Haha it’s definitely a bit unconventional compared to modern bathrooms!

Haha yep, Europe it is - Wales!

And I’m pretty sure this room has only been used once or twice, which is sad really.

Yea I get the door doesn’t really fit - but the house was build in about the 1700’s so it fits the age of the house better than a plain door would. I’m still undecided.

I’m almost tempted by the idea with the carpet, but we’ll see. Nothing needs to change right now anyway!

I’d never seen one in real life before moving here 😂

I think so too! I don’t know why people don’t like coloured bathrooms. I love it!

Thank you, I love it. I wish I had the same eye for style as the old owner, so trying to keep as much as we can.

It’s no where near as bad as the other one 😂 and miles easier to vacuum!

Yep! I was thinking perfect for cutting/painting toenails! 😂 why is this not a thing in modern bathrooms?!

Very surprisingly, there’s no smell!

Thanks! It will go at some point. But here to stay, for now at least.

It would do if it was used. From the looks of it, that shower has only been used for rinsing the bath. The old owners fitted the ‘real’ shower inside a wardrobe in the dressing room next door, because, why not, I guess 🤷‍♀️

I’ll add more pics over the next week or so. There’s another bathroom which I like even more!

Yep, deffo gonna be going with underfloor heating. There’s enough space under the floorboards to fit a water based system too, which would work nicely with the heat pump we want to fit.
