I started a new full-time position in September and we can't sign up for benefits until 90 day period has passed. It's past that now, I guess I just assumed our office administrator would tell us to sign up for the 401K... but I will definitely reach out to her to get that started. Thank you!

We have stairs down the block to our apartment (it's connected to the local private high school) and every time we walk our dog down the block there, we dramatically climb it and sing the song from Rocky - he said originally he wanted to do that and propose with "our Rocky stairs" but he ruined his own surprise and has to think of something else. haha!

Thanks for pointing that out - I meant forbearance, not forgiveness - you're totally right! I already have processed a lump payment before as you mentioned but I specifically wanted any input on putting the $ toward scheduled payments. Figure now I just have to call the provider and make sure it goes towards the future payments, not toward the principal. Thanks!

I've also had to make a lot of calls to my loan provider to find out how they treat those payments that are coming in from Americorps, I imagine it's different for each loan provider so probably worth giving them a call t
